𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲. <𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗰>

𝙾𝚑𝚑...𝚠𝚎𝚕𝚕 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚍𝚒𝚍𝚗𝚝 𝚎𝚗𝚍 𝚠𝚎𝚕𝚕

Do bad things always happen when we all hangout? or is it karma for something? no, it can't be. i didn't do anything. did i?

We were all sitting around a small bonfire, preparing to play volleyball. it was girls vs boys, since we had an even amount.

"We are so gonna win." Andy says, cockily.
"Did you forget that someone on this team," i pointed at all of us girls which were right next to each other. "plays volleyball?" I ask, smirking.

it was Akira, of course. she's an amazing volleyball player. one time, she got her team into a nationals tournament! I went with her to every state they had to go to, which happened to be 3. I'm pretty sure they were Idaho..Indiana..anddd-

"Yeah well some of us are super strong." Nathan flexes his uhm...arms? i don't know what he's trying to flex, but his confidence gave me a small snicker. He glared at me. "What are you laughing at?" He asked, he sounded like a bully. i continue laughing and when i finally calm down i say," You flexed NOTHING" the other girls start to laugh so i laugh with them. Suddenly i fell backwards onto the sand causing everyone to start laughing.

Luckily for us, it wasn't necessarily dark. The sunset was going down which was beautiful, and we had the time to play a few rounds of volleyball, then watch the rest of the sunset.

I stand back up and grab the volleyball, then walk over to the net. This is gonna be fun.

it's been 20 minutes and the girls are already winning. 7-0. These boys SUCK.
Were all laughing at the fact Lyon fell on his face, when i hear someone call my name. Uh oh.

"Faith? is that you?" A boy, named Dean, walked up asking.
"Deeeean...heyyy." i said, awkwardly. Akira and Lotus look at me and quietly hide their laughter.
"Care to introduce us orrr.." Nathan said, sassily. i roll my eyes.
"Boys this is Dean, my ex. Dean these are the boys Lyon, Nathan, and Andy."
i point to them when i say their names. Dean gives them a nice smile and Andy and Lyon return the smile. Nathan on the other hand gave dean a death stare.

why would he be giving dean a death stare? he doesn't like me, does he?

"What are you guys doing?" Dean asked, Nathan not moving his stare.
"we're playing volleyball" Lyon said, patting nathan's back.
"Oh nice! can i join you?" Dean asked.
"i don't know, it'd make the teams unfair" Andy said.
"Cmon guys, i'm always alone. The least you could do is let me play" dean said. Did i mention Dean is one for trying to Manipulate? He gives me pick me energy.

"We said no. sorry." Nathan said in a snarky tone. Wow. i've never heard him say something like that in that tone before. Dean gave him a glare before sighing. "Alright, i'll go. Bye girls, By faith." He comes and gives me a hug that i'm obviously uncomfortable in. Nathan walks over and pulls me back, and i smiled at him. "Bye." He said, in the same snarky tone. Dean walks off into the night and we all look at each other. "Maybe we should go home..?" Lotus asked. Everyone agreed.

This was a long night.
