I tapped the answer button and held the phone next to my ear, turning around.
"Hello?" I asked. I heard some rustling through the phone. Until it stopped, I heard a clear voice say my name.
"Y/n.."
"Uh yes?" I reply immediately recognizing the voice. Which belonged to Itachi.
"I won't be in Konoha until sometime next week or the week after that due to some problems in the business..sorry." he states. I was disappointed hearing that he wasn't going to come anytime soon. I was really looking forward to seeing him.
"Oh alright. That's fine. Um I'll see you soon then" I said, trying my best to cover up the disappointment in my voice.
"See you then." he says before hanging up.
I put my phone back in my bag and headed over and sat down on the bench near the gym. It was very cold outside and I completely forgot to bring a jacket. I slightly shivered as the wind blew in my direction. I got up from the bench wanting to head inside for the rest of the night until I suddenly felt something drop onto my shoulders, it felt a bit heavy once it was onto me.
I turn my head to the side and realized it was Kakashi, who had put his coat over my shoulders.
"Here, princess." He says.
I gently smiled at him. "Thank you, babe" I said.
He puts his hands over my shoulders, looking down at me. "Let's go in" he says.
I nod and we both headed back inside. Kakashi and I sat down together near the entrance of the gym.
I looked around and saw Rin in the corner of my eye coming closer to us. She then stopped and was now standing on the left side of me, with her arms crossed.
I acted like I didn't see her there or anything of the sort. She didn't do or say anything in the mean time.
I talked to Kakashi meanwhile, the dance was still continuing. Students were walking back and forth, in and out of the dance floor.
Me and Kakashi agreed that he would stay the night at my house. Except that I forgot that my apartment was a huge mess. I didn't want to mention anything. So I kept quiet.
I don't think anyone would want to pick up their mess tonight. I'm guessing that they would be tired to even go back home, if anything.
"I heard that you were going to a party tomorrow. Is that right?" He asks. My eyes widen.
What the hell? How the hell does he know? Who the fuck snitched?! Damn them.
"I'm curious as to who the hell fucking told you" I said calmly.
Kakashi jokingly scoffed. He leaned close to my ear. "Baby girl, don't worry. Just tell me if it's true. That's all I want to know."
I'm going to have to make up a lie for this one. Definitely not going to have Kakashi ruin the fun for me. As much as I love him, I definitely don't want him to act like he's my father in any way.
"No. I don't know who the hell told you such a lie" I spat, crossing my arms.
He looks down on me "Right.." he says in a doubtful tone.
I then stood up and grabbed Kakashi hand. There was still time might as well enjoy it instead of staying here and talk about this stuff.
I practically dragged Kakashi to the dance floor. Even though the music right now that was playing wasn't my type of music, regardless I still wanted to dance.
