Chapter 36

Next morning (still Kakashi POV)

I slowly opened my eyes. The sight of y/n face, sleeping was the first thing I saw. I gently stood up from the bed, trying my best not to wake her up.

I yawned and slowly start to stretch my arms and back. I turned my head and looked down at y/n sleeping figure.

I gently smile as to how peacefully she was sleeping. I leaned closer to her face, giving her a peck on her forehead. I pulled away and grabbed the blanket, pulling it off of me and getting out of the bed.

I headed down the hallway into the kitchen. I realized that there were random makeup and hair accessories around the floor, spread around the living room.

I ignored it and headed to the kitchen to cook some breakfast for both me and y/n.

I thought about how good it must feel to have to wake up every day in a setting like this.

I start grabbing the necessary ingredients and stuff to start cooking.

I was busy cooking 3 things at the same time. I was minding my own business, humming a random tune that came to mind.

After I was done with breakfast, it was then when I had noticed y/n sitting down at the table, smiling at me.

"Morning, beautiful. How did you sleep?" I said as I placed the food on the table.

"Morning. I slept good, how about you?" She says grabbing a plate, happily serving herself food.

"I slept amazing, of course, because of you," I say, pulling out a chair and sitting down next to y/n.

"You sure would make a really good husband." She says, eating a spoonful of food. I smirk, gently laughing.

"Not as much as you'll make a good wife for me," I said. She suddenly starts to choke on her food, making her a coughing mess.

I worriedly got up and fetched bottled water from the fridge, quickly handing it to her. She quickly drank the water. I start patting her back.

"Babe are you alright?" I ask. She nods twice. She turns her head to face me.

"Damn it Kakashi, don't say things like that. I'm still in high school, you know?" She says, placing the water bottle on the table.

I cup her cheeks and stared at her, I admired how beautiful she looked early in the morning.

"How do you not know about the tax benefits of being married?" I say to her, jokingly.

"Maybe because they don't teach us these types of stuff at school?" She replies. I gently smiled.

We stayed silent afterward, for the next few moments, we kept staring at each other. I pulled away and sat down at the chair next to her.

I grabbed a plate and started to serve some food. Y/n continued to eat.

"I am going to go out with a few friends tonight for a few drinks. So I will stay here until the afternoon." I said.
