"Itachi over here!" I say, waving my hand up in the air. Today me and Itachi decided to hangout. It was a long time since we had spent the day together.
Itachi takes notice and walks over to the booth I was in. He sits across from me.
"Hey long time no see." He smiled.
Oh how I missed that smile.
"It's been a while, huh?" I say. He nods.
"Indeed. How've you been?" He says. Itachi adjusted his suit that he always seemed to wear.
"I've been good. How about you?" I say.
"I'm doing alright. So why here?" He asks, pointing to the restaurant. My eyes look around the area. The restaurant consisted of a few people seated but they were spread far apart.
"Why not? We can leave elsewhere if you want." I say as I turn my attention back to Itachi. He shakes his head.
"It's fine. We should order something. My treat." He said. I frown.
"That's not fair. It's my treat this time. Don't worry, I have enough money." I say motioning to my purse. Itachi chuckles.
"You haven't changed. Your still the same when it comes to paying." He says. A small smile forms on my lips.
"Perhaps I still am,"
"We should order and save this conversation for later." I say. I raise my hand up.
"We are ready to order!" I said loud enough for a employee to hear. A women turns around and immediately comes our way.
"My name is Melissa. At your service ma'am." She says. I smile at her gentle voice. It was soothing and comforting one can say.
"Mmh, can we have (favorite food) and (favorite soda) please? What do you want Itachi?" I look at him. Itachi looks at me.
"I'll have the same thing as her." He said. This caught me off guard.
Wow I'm not sure if I should be offended or not.
"You both are such a cute couple." She says, putting her hand on her cheek.
"We are no-" I was cut off by Itachi.
"Thank you." Itachi said giving her a gentle smile. She nods.
"I'll be back with the food!"
As she left I turn to Itachi, glaring at him.
"What was that? I was just going to tell her that we aren't a couple."
He smirks. "It's already late for that."
I sigh and cross my arms.
"Whatever."
Itachi looks out the window, his palm under his chin.
"Have you decided which university your going to?" He asks.
"Yeah." I say.
Itachi turns his head to look at me. He stared at me for a few seconds before speaking.
"Which one?"
Should I lie to him? No, I can't. He can always tell when I lie.
I look away, avoiding eye contact. "Um..Kyoto." I mumble.
