Correcting the echoes of a silence
with a sea-spray of distant lorry hiss,
moonlight beating wings
of words of gestures
of snowflake faces growing void
under meditating wheels...
ea ea ea...
remembering flowers of sleep
of singing stream tunnels
of someone calling through cupped hands.
Ascending bubble of a dawn
shouldering towards sunrise.
Rooks rake the air.
I wake, yawn and wonder...............................
Comings and goings -
the air wakes so still
these touches of distant frost.Wind shakes buddleia heads
withering / ripening now
within their butterfly love........................................
As the amber moon
eclipsed my incandescent memories
so does this falling world,
so glittering a sun susurrus of leaves,
go out with a smoky exhalation
drifting through autumn streets
and drifting through these words
dancing imagined air....................................
