Struggles

Chapter 10

Chloe's POV
Time skip to when she is 19 weeks (10 weeks later)

Today was the day of the gender reveal, Zach was wearing a blue button up shirt and White pants and I was wearing a pink dress. Jamie and Zach's mom was in charge of finding out the gender while Isaac, Andrew, and Zach's dad was in charge of decorations. These past 10 weeks Zach and I have been discussing baby names. We had two boy names and two girl names picked out just in case. There was one name from each that we liked better then the other though. I walked downstairs seeing the mini get together we had. I didn't have any friends from school. Zach only had Jamie he was close with from school. The only people being here was Isaac, Andrew, Jamie, Zach's mom, Zach's dad, and his grandparents from both sides. 

"Ok so there are two boxes under the table, you will open one box at a time and if it is a girl pink balloons will come out. If it is a boy blue balloons will come out, then you will grab the second box for the second baby. The same thing blue for boy and pink for girl" Jamie says

Zach and I both nod our heads showing we understand and walk over to the table. I was getting really nervous but also excited. I could tell Zach was too because he was being really jittery. We both grabbed the box that said baby A and put it on top of the table. I looked over at Zach smiling and he smiled back at me.

"Ready" he asked

"Ready" I said

so on the count of three we opened the box to see pink balloons flying out and into the sky. By now Zach and I both had tears welling up in our eyes. We grabbed the second box that said baby B on it and put that on top of the table. Doing the same thing as before counting down from three we opened the box. Blue balloons started floating out and now I was full on crying. I looked at Zach to see him crying as well. He pulled me into a hug as we both cried tears of joy onto each others shoulders. 

Once we pulled back we went around and hugged everyone else. I was so glad that everyone supported us and that Zach didn't leave the babies and I. After a little while we cut the cake seeing one layer being pink and the other being blue. Putting a slice on each plate for each person and Zach passing it out to everyone. 

Now that we knew the genders Zach and I wanted to announce the names of the babies. I stood up along with Zach.

"Can I have everyone's attention" I said

Everyone looked over at me and Zach with their full attention.

"We want to announce the twins names today as well" Zach said 

Everyone smiled and continued to look at us.

"So for baby girl, her name is Luna Belle Johnson. We decided we wanted the babies to have Zach's last name." I looked over at Zach so he would say baby boy's name.

"And baby boy's name is Lucas Grey Johnson" he said smiling.

Everyone awed at the names and we talked a bit more about the names and school before everyone decided to leave. Zach and I walked up to the room both of us working on school. We both wanted to graduate early. Hopefully before or shortly after the babies are born, both of us now have a job as well. I work at home putting data into the computer for hospitals and clinics (Author's note: I don't know if this job actually exist or not but that's ok). Zach works at a local grocery store not to far from the house. 

Zach and I also wanted to start getting stuff the babies and their nursery. There were two spare rooms in the house that my brother's agreed to allow us to use as their nurseries. Which we were both grateful for. It was getting later in the night so I decided that I was going to stop working on school and start getting ready for bed. 

I walked into the closet and grabbed a pair of my sweat pants and one of Zach's hoodies throwing it on before walking out. Zach had already changed before doing school work and now is in bed waiting for me. 

I walked over and climbed into bed him automatically wrapping his arm around me and me cuddling into his side. 

Author's note

In the next chapter instead of writing everything out I am just going to be putting a bunch of pictures showing what they got for each baby and for each nursery. I might do baby girl in one chapter and baby boy in the next so it's not so confusing on whose is whose.
