"I know, life's been been pretty crazy but I called you because I actually need to tell you something"I said

"uh, so last year around late August I met this girl who moved next door to me and we became friends...very close friends actually"I chuckled
"wah yuh getting at Jahseh?"he asked
"we're dating now and have been since October"I said
"oh really?"
"yeah and um...*smiles* she's pregnant"
"yuh serious? mi guh be a grandfatha?"He asked
I nodded "yeah, it's going to be a girl"
"wow, so when's iz she due?"
"This October"
"That's just a few months away, wah mek yuh neva tell me Jahseh?"
I sighed deeply "like I said, life has been crazy...my girlfriend, her name is Liah and I recently saved her...she was sorta kidnapped by her ex boyfriend"
"kidnapped?! wah di fuck?"
I shook my head "yeah but she's completely fine"
"Where she at?"he asked
"in the bed, her doctor has her on bed rest"

"oh, okay"I walked back into our bedroom. Liah was typing away on her phone. "LiLi? my dad wants to speak to you"
