Greg Mathens – originally convicted in 1996 for assaulting a minor. After being granted parole, he kidnapped the child whose testimony put him away and attempted to force the boy to shoot himself. As a result, he was incarcerated again in 2002. He was strangled to death by a fellow inmate who has a history of violent psychotic episodes. He has no surviving relatives. No funeral arrangements have been announced.
