I spent the night at my moms because I haven't been with them for a while.
"Phupho!!!" I heard zoya call me.
"G jani..kya hua?" I look over at zoya who's playing with the babies while I'm taking care of laundry.
"Phupho smell aa Rahi hai." And she clipped her nose with her fingers.
I laughed and patted her head. I went over to the babies and took a sniff. It was Alia surprisingly.
"Ugh I'm surprised you did this. But your baba will change you."
"Hussain!" I called downstairs.
"Kya hua?"
"Alia ka diaper change karo...#2"
"Tum kyun nahi kar sacti?"
"I have to change Ali. Ab ao. In dono ko lehlana bhi hai!"
"Aa raha hoon." And he ran upstairs.
He went to Alia and took her to the pack and play. He opened the diaper and almost fainted.
"Hussain!!!"
"Ashi it's horrible.. Kya khate ho Tum?"
"I didn't breast feed them...I gave formula."
"Ughh."
"Now hurry and change. She'll be cold."
"It's 90+ degrees outside."
"But inside its 70 something..she'll get sick."
"Ok mom."

I finished up with folding the kids laundry and went to change Ali.
"You're a great father you know." I said to hussain.
"Really?"
"Yeah..I don't know why you freaked out when I told you..you ended up in the hospital."
"Yeah I know I was stupid..I shouldn't have done that. I don't know why I was scared to be with my baby girl. I love this girl so much. She's my everything." Hussain said looking at Alia.
"I'm so happy I could give you this happiness."
"And I thank you for this happiness."
"We did it together." I have him a smirk to break the seriousness.
"Shut up ashi..geez you're disgusting." I heard Adnan in the doorway.

"I wanted to play with Alia."

Hussain and I gave the kids a bath and changed them.
I chose Ali a black pair of pants and a dark blue onsie and a matching hat with black socks.
Hussain changed Alia into a red pair of pants and a white onsie with red pokka dots.
"They look cute."
"They do indeed."
I went and took a shower because I felt disgusting and sweaty.
"Hussain keep an eye on the kids. I'm going to shower."
"Babe I have some work to do...I'll tell mamma to watch them."
"What 'work'?"
"Shehry called and said he needed help with some office work."
"Ok hurry and be back."
"I'll try love."

Hussain is still isn't back. He left in the morning. I decided to call up shehry.
"Hello.?"
"Hello? Shehry?"
"Hey what's up?"
"Is hussain with you?"
"No why would he be with me?"
"He said you needed help with work..he left this morning."
"Um no I haven't seen him all day."
"Ok? I'll call you later."
"Ok bye."
Where is hussain?
I was interrupted by the doorbell.
"Hello. Is ashi home?"
"Yes I'm ashi.."
"Here ma'am." He handed me a card and a bouquet of roses.

"Have a nice evening ma'am."
He left and I read the note.
Be ready at 9:30. Meet me at this address. Wear something really fancy..I'll be waiting my love. And there's a surprise outside..love you.

I looked outside and there was a new car.
I looked at my watch and it was 8:15.
I didn't have time to get ready.
I showered and curled my hair. I decided to wear a cream to blue gradient maxi with a lace crop top with multi colored pumps.
I looked at my watch and it was 9:15 I decided to leave because the place wasn't far.
It was a hotel.
I wonder why he called me there?
I went in and the receptionist looked at me and smiled and pointed to the elevator. There was a note on there.
Floor 30, room number 423. I'll meet you there. Love you.
What was he doing?
I went upstairs and went to the bedroom. I saw the key in an envelope taped onto the door and opened the door.
I went in and the next thing I knew I was crying my eyeballs out. It was beautiful.
"Surprise." Hussain brushed up behind me and wrapped his hand around my waist.
"Why did you do this?"
"Because we needed a break from the kids...and I know if we didn't take a break you'd stress yourself out...and also this is a way of thanking you for my beautiful kids..I'm so greatful."
"I couldn't have done it without you." I said making him laugh.
"God you're disgusting."
"Well than.."
"I love you though."
"I love you so much!"
We had dinner and ended the romantic night.
"We should do this once in a while.."
"We should. I hope mom can take care of the kids."
"She's fine. I called and she said everything's fine."
"Alright. I'm going to sleep. I'm beyond tired."
"Alright honey. Good night." And he gave me a kiss. We slept hand in hand. I wanted this moment to last forever.

The next morning we went home after eating breakfast at the hotel.
We were driving home and It was silent.
"Thanks for last night.." I broke the silence.
"Anything for you my love."
"Why'd you get a new car?"
"You needed one..I was taking yours and I figured you'd want a new one. So i got a family friendly car."

We got home and I ran to my babies. I was gone 1 night and I missed them like crazy. I think ill have to get used to it. Being a mommy is just amazing.
"Ashi!!?" I heard iqra call me.
"What?"
"I'm getting Married..."
