I know I said something happy and cheery but...

Mmm...

No.

🤠

Viktor's green eyes stared out over the Skyline, it was beautiful. Breathtaking.
In his hand he cradled a glass of whisky. The moonlit sky reflecting in his glass.

"Vitya...." said a voice behind him, that sent shivers up Viktor's neck.

Dimitar stood near the door, Viktor glanced at him before turning back to the window.

Footsteps approached him, and Viktor swallowed, not now....

Dimitar placed his hands on Viktor's shoulders, and he pulled Viktor into his chest. He moved his head aside, planting a small kiss on his neck, just under and slightly behind his ear.

"Why've you been ignoring me?" He said softly.

Viktor once again ignored him.

Dimitar's hand slipped down his chest and wrapped it around waist.

"My parents are going away for the weekend, they left just now" he said, a smirk appearing on his features, "Everybody's gone, no-one's home" he whispered as he left a peck in the same spot.

Viktor pulled himself out of Dimitar's embrace and glared at him with hurt eyes.

"No Dima" he said hoarsely, putting his glass on the table.

Dimitar raised his eyebrow, "Love, what's wrong?"

He held his arms out for the younger man, but he pushed him away.

"Dimitar.... I- I can't do this anymore" Viktor said, his eyes welling up.

"What?" Dimitar replied, "This!" Viktor replied sharply.

"I hate that we have to hide this, I hate constantly thinking about what other people think, I hate thinking that I'm going to get the shit beaten out of me in the street, I hated growing up thinking I had something wrong with me"

"I hate myself for loving you" Viktor said, his voice cracking as tears fell.

Dimitar lost it and grabbed Viktor, pulling him into his arms.

A muffled sob escaped Viktor, and he buried his head into Dimitar's neck.

"I hate it as well, Vitya" he said, "But people are mean, and think they can judge who we are, how we were born. They'd never accept us, that's why we must hide it. They'd never understand"

"I fucking hate it here" Viktor sobbed, "I want to leave this place"

Dimitar pushed Viktor back and planted a long but soft kiss on his lips, his hands resting on the slightly taller man's shoulders. He reached up and wiped Viktor's cheeks.

He took his hand and pulled him over to the couch.

"Where d'you want to go?" He said to his boyfriend, "Anywhere in the world"

"Dima--"

"Just do it" Dimitar said.

Viktor swallowed, "Erm...." he muttered as he thought to himself.

Dimitar found it adorable when Viktor was deep in thought, he noticed as how wonderful Viktor's eyes looked under the pale light, he remembered when he first met Viktor.

He was quiet, shy and studious. This boy who had to visit Dimitar's family their parents had to do 'business'

They became best friends and only soon learned what their feelings were for each other.
