You're So Beautiful

"You're beautiful" Gabrielle whispered in Lila's ear, fingering a lock of her curly brown hair.

Lila looked up from her book, glasses perched on the edge of her nose. A bashful smile drew on her face, and the dim light only made her features that bit more adorable.

"You're so sappy" she said with a giggle.

Lila turned back to her book while Gabrielle pulled her closer. She gently traced over her cheek with her fingers, and over her jaw.

Lila closed her book and placed it on her lap, and turned to her girlfriend with a knowing smile.

"D'you mind?" She said, grinning as she gazed into Gabrielle's dark brown near black eyes, that stared into the soft, light brown of hers.

"Not at all" she replied, bringing their lips together.

Lila gasped softly, unsure with what to do with her hands, eventually wrapping them round Gabrielle's waist while the latter had one resting on her shoulder and the other on her neck.
Gabrielle's tongue made an appearance, gently caressing Lila's.

Eventually, they separated.

Lila, red faced and lipped, frozen, her eyes closed in ecstasy.

Gabrielle smirked.

"See what I mean when I say you're beautiful?"

Lila opened her eyes, she smiled softly but it faded, "I'm not though"
Gabrielle squinted and turned her head, "What d'you mean your not? I know for a goddamn fact you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen... Who called you ugly?"

"N-Nobody did!! I just- I'm not even ugly.... I'm just, average looking" Lila said, folding her arms. Her head turned to look Gabrielle in the eye, "And someone as... gorgeous, wonderful and... amazing as you always praises and complements me as though I'm some sort of an angel..."

Gabrielle's eyes darkened. Suddenly she jumped onto Lila's lap, wrapping her neck.

"You really shouldn't be so hard on yourself, I don't like seeing you sad.
I perfer when you have that adorable twinkle in those gorgeous eyes of yours, when you're smiling and your face screws up, or at night when we're together, and I smell your perfume.

Lila's eyes filled with tears, "Gabby..." she laughed, stopping herself from crying, "No more tears" she said, kissing Lila's temple.

"I love you" Lila said.

I love you too" Gabrielle replied, connecting their lips again.
