Recap

Last chapter we didn't see much of our beloved duo... Instead, Natsu went on a secret trip to see Warrod after receiving a call from the nursing home.

Warrod shocks Natsu with a very important necklace he wants to give to Lucy. It was originally meant for her grandmother, but Warrod never had the chance to give it to her. Instead he gave it to Layla Heartfillia (Lucy's mother) and was asked to pass it on again to her daughter.

Natsu accepts this request, then learns that him and his father also knew each other. This  conversation warmed Natsu's heart.

Isn't it sweet that our mischievously & popular pink haired idiot could have such a soft and sophisticated side?
I guess that's what happens when you're in love ;)

Anyways, at the end of the chapter Natsu invites Warrod to the Spring Festival that's coming up in a few weeks. Finally we last see him back with Lucy at her house, snuggled up on the couch.

Lucy's POV

Valentine's Day. My first time actually celebrating Valentine's Day. Woah..

In Fiore, Valentines day is a celebrated slightly different though. The girls give an offering to the boy they are interested in and in return the boy has until the rainbow cherry blossom tree revealing that night to return the sentiment previously received. Meeting under the tree is supposed to bring good luck and true love within this new blossomed relationship.

Talk about nerve racking.. which is why I never participated. Plus I've never really had a crush before anyway.

And I know exactly what type of chocolate I am going to make Natsu.

I walk over to the kitchen, slicking my hair back & tying the apron around my neck and back, I begin to bake.

Right before I get anywhere, a short and blue haired girl bursts into my house.

"Lucy!" Levy calls out.

"I'm in the kitchen Lev!" I reply.

"Oh? Getting in the Valentine's spirit I see?"

"Mhm"

"I knew it."

"Knew what?"

"You and Natsu were made for each other. I always saw it coming."

I blush and continue with mixing the batter.

"It was like a delicious love drama show. God it took forever for you sense idiots to notice."

"I'm not dense."

"Really? It took you a good 10 years before you started to open up and live a little."

"Well that's because.."

"Of Natsu."
