Recap

Two weeks pass since the snow storm & spring is peaking out just behind the corner.

Lucy was asked by Gildarts to do his big interview for returning to Fiore, which was broadcasted throughout town.

This was a big step for Lucy's writing career, and Natsu took her out for subway right after in order to celebrate.

A long time spent hanging at Natsus house, Lucy decides to go visit her moms grave.

Natsus POV

Today's the day of Fiores spring festival. Also referred to as founders day.

Lucy made sure I woke up at the crack of dawn because she has a whole conspiracy that if you get to the festival an hour before it starts, the dumplings taste better.

She's such a goofball, but I am kind of curious...

It's 6:37 and I've gotten at least 12 calls from Lucy to wake me up. I text her and tell her I'm about to shower, get dressed, and be over soon.

After I shower I shake my hair dry with a towel and brush it through a few times. I head over to my drawers, pulling out a pair of jeans and an imagine dragons T-shirt.

Stuffing my wallet into my pocket & making sure to bring a hoodie because I know Lucy will get chilly, I head out the door.

Getting out of my car, I walk to her door and inside her house. She sent me a text before hand that told me it was okay to just come right in.

I announce that I'm here hollering up the stairs, then take a seat on the couch to wait.

"Coming!" I hear her voice call down to me.

I watch in awe of her, once again. I don't know how she does it but every time I see her, she just glows more and more.

She was wearing sandal heels? I'm not sure what to call them but it made her slightly taller, still not taller to top me though. And a white flowing dress, the straps rested on the side of her shoulders and were slightly puffy.

Knocking me out of my gaze she says, "Ready to go?"

"Yeah I'm ready to try those "magical" dumplings" I tease her.

"You'll see, I'm not crazy. They taste better!" She says poking me in the center of my chest.

"Okay if you say so." I shrug teasing once more, then walking out the door behind her.

We decide to walk instead of taking the car because today was the perfect day for the spring festival. Plus it was only a mile walk or so, and we needed to stall time anyway so we could get in right away.

As we walk I glance down at her hand, noticing it was free for the taking. I swing my hand carefully, but smoothly over to hers interlocking our fingers.
