Jentzen's Pov

Hey! I'm Jentzen! I go to New York High school (does dat really exist? idk, im asking u) and I'm not really popular. I'm not a nerd, either. I'm just in-between, with my group of great friends!

My friend group includes- Me, My bestfriend- Hanz, My other friends- Conner, Leah and my beautiful crush, Calypso. I love her name, like the Calypso of Ogygia. But she's stuck on island right? It can't be actually her. My dad is against gods and demigods and these myths. He thinks they're power hungry and stupid, monster-magnets that get us killed. I agree with him 100% (vlacas...) 

"So... What do you guys feel about the myths and all?" I asked.

"They seem, like, evil, and stuff. Ya know," Conner replied.

"Yeah" "Same," "Me too" everyone agreed, except Calypso . She looked at us as if we were being rude to an old lady."Hmph!" she sighed.

She was probably sad, or something. She'll probably be cheered up after I kiss her today. after school. 

--------------Time skip to after school called Beckendorf---------------

"Hey Cal!" I called out to her.

"Oh, hi" she said glumly. then she muttered something like 'mortals' and rolled her eyes. Wait, isn't she a mortal? Wait, what?! No way, It couldn't be!

Suddenly, a random, Latino dude came out of nowhere and hugged  Calypso from behind. I was sure she'd punch him or something, but she turned and kissed him. ON THE LIPS! What no! this can't be happening! I'm not gonna allow a precious little soul like her's in the hands of that weakling!

"I challenge you to a sword fight!" I told the Latino guy. "Kay, sure!" He shrugged. That little smile on his face was so annoying!

I was the second best sword fighter in the school, so obviously better than him. I would beat him, and then Calypso would realize what puny guy he is, and then we'll get married and live a happy life!

----------at the fight thing------------

I was so ready for this. I bet I'll beat him. Everyone except Cal, was cheering for me. I was gonna show her who the best was.

I charged, he simply side-stepped and yawned as if he had dealt with way more. I swung my sword at him again, he dodged it as if he was expecting it. "C'mon you idiot! fight!" I shouted at him. "Oh really? You want me to charge? ok sure!" He grinned. 

In a matter of three seconds I was pinned down to the floor, with his sword hovering above me. Thankfully, these sword were blunt and made of wood.

"Who da real MVP now?!" The guy shouted, with a crazy smile on his face. Calypso rolled her eyes, "You can do better, Leo" "Aw, c'mon, I was just having some fun, first" Leo replied.

"No! You can't date such a puny mortal like him! He's so weak and probably will dump in two days!" I cried. "I'm the son of Zeus! Bow down to me mortal! But you don't have to tho, Cal" She gave me glare. "-ypso!" I added and gulped.

"I am Calypso! Daughter of the titan Atlas," everyone stared at her. "Yes, the one from the myth of Ogygia!" I was freed by Leo only months back, and not to deal with mortals like you!" And just to prove her point, Calypso made the wooden sword lying in front of her fly. 

"And I'm Leo McShizzle Valdez! Son of the coolest god ever, Hephaestus! Fire user, free-er of Hera, Supreme Commander of The Argo 2, one of The Seven, et cetera, et cetera. Can't be too bothered to state all my titles." He said. How many title did this guy have? And then leo's hair burst into flames. Calypso said "Your hair" as if this was an everyday thing.

They walked out of the room, never to be seen by us again, but not before punching me in the face and breaking my nose.

That's how I met Caleo.
