Mellisa's Pov

How the hell does Katie do that?! it's like, wherever she is, somehow plants grow. And all the seeds she plants, grow twice as fast as the normal seeds.

Oh, sorry, I haven't introduced myself, (A/N this person do be giving off geronimo stilton vibes. yes I still read GS 0-0) I'm Mellisa. But call me Mel. 

I'm part of the gardening group of my school, and so is Katie. Though, we've never talked before. I usually stick to my group, Kate, Josh, Cameron and me.

We're all the in the gardening group. Katie Gardner is a loner, you can sa, but she's the prettiest girl in the school. With mesmerizing grass green eyes, and dark and flow-y, reddish-auburn hair, and perfect facial features, and she's pretty built too. She always wears colourful flowers in her head.

Boys stopped asking her out because of the many broken bones they get in return for it.

but like I was saying, she has an aura which the plants probably like. She's like a nymph or something. Oh the Greek gods revealed then selves so...

I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if she was a nymph. I mean, she's all nature-lovling and stuff.

I mean, so am I, but she's.....ugh I don't have any words.

Moving on, my group and I, we decided to spy on Katie, and find out the truth.

Half the school day was over, yet we hadn't seen anything suspicious (idk if that's right spelling) except maybe, the fact that she was talking to the plants...

I mean, lost of people talk to their plants, and sing to them, but this was different. it was like as if she was having a serious conversation with them.

School was over, but still we didn't manage to find out what was up with Katie.

Suddenly, some weird old ladies who looked like witches came through the doors.

They snarled at everyone, showing off their teeth which were probably never brushed before. like ew.

Everyone got scared, and the teachers tried to  get everyone inside the classrooms and to hide them under the desks. But the old hags made their way to Katie. And she wasn't even fazed.

"KATIE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING! GET UNDER THE DESK OR HIDE SOMEWHERE ELSE!" A teacher whisper-shouted.

She pretended as if she never heard anything. She reached ring on her middle finger and tapped it twice. It turned into a knife which was the length of a sword. a weird knife shaped sword or something. But she didn't charge at them.

"You know what we are, young demigod?" One of the ladies hissed. But I don't know who, because it sounded like their voice was coming from the walls.

Wait-
Katie was a demigod?!!!! Oh my lord!!

"Arai. Percy and Annabeth told me all about you. How did you escape Tartarus?" She questioned. I was ready to pass out by now, and she seemed so calm and collected.

"Yes my dear. And you cannot kill us." The walls echoed again.

"Katie, there is still time, come on and hide!" Some teacher said again. Really? How thick was she?

"Do you not get the hint, Mrs. Moseir?!" Katie said.

Random plants started growing everywhere. "Your puny leaves won't kill us" The 'arai' said.

And that's when I passed out.

A few hours later, I woke up, in the nursing room of my school. My friends in the surrounding bed. Many other unconscious, but not dead students. All of them, passed out 'cause of the shock.

"I'm Katie Gardner, daughter or Demeter. I know you had been watching me all day. I'm sorry we never got to be friends, But I have to go to camp now." Katie had noticed I was stirring.

She left without another word, tossing her knife-sword around like it was a toy.

And that's how I found out she was a daughter of Demeter. Now the plants growing around her made sense. Because she was the daughter of the god of agriculture.
