"Omigosh, omigosh," Fitz muttered, trying to gel down his hair. Biana laughed from the doorway.
"You can stop fixing your hair, y'know. He's going to love it either way. Look at his; it's like the messiest thing you'll find."
"Shut up, Biana!" Fitz said, exasperated from her endless teasing.
Ever since he and Keefe had finally told their friends and parents, Biana hadn't stopped teasing him and Keefe. She'd even interrupted them when Keefe was about to kiss Fitz. It was their first kiss, and it was supposed to be special.
So they had to wait some more. Today was the first day since then, and also, their first official date.
Fitz could only hope it would go well - and end with a kiss.
"He's here!" Della called.
Biana squealed. "Go get your guy, Fitz."
And he did.
