Touya's Pov,
My heart is racing I know this will end badly but I'm trying to think of it as him trying to change, or apologize for last night? Maybe the last one if he was trying to change I wouldn't be here alone
" Touya are you paying attention to me at all?"I silently freaked out, he noticed I wasn't paying attention,
"no sorry what did you need" there was no point in pretend I knew, I would only make a fool of myself in public.
"I asked what you're ordering" that's all he wanted to know? Maybe he is trying to apologise, and I was acting rude this morning, then again he was standing in my doorway with the lights off making no attempt to wake me up to talk
"um Gyudon? It looks nice enough" He looked at me and told the waiter what we wanted, the rest of dinner was uneventful until the end
"are you okay you look stressed out" well I don't really know what he expected he was burning my chest last night I wouldn't exactly be excited to be having dinner with him
especially after he denied me dinner last night so the gesture seemed... Off
" just school work, it gets overbearing sometimes" he seemed to buy it but still didn't look away from me even while eating he still looked....hungry?
"enji?" He hummed in response opting no not actually speak
"why are we here? It's not like I hate this restaurant or anything I'm just curious" he looked at me before swallow the food he was eating
"i got bored and it's your birthday today so I figured you wouldn't question it" such an enji response
"okay thanks enji" he stared at me for a while while eating, then cast his food aside and flagged down the waiter to pay the check. I felt like this was a set up, was I being set up? Just as I realized I was spacing out he got up and muttered out
"Touya go wait in the car I have something to get , I walked out of the reasterant with enji but he walked in a different direction, I tried to get my breathing in check and decided it was safer to sit in the backseat, but as soon as enji got back from the store he scoffed at me
"Touya you're 13 now get in the front seat" I silently got into the front seat dreading the whole car ride back to that place he called home, he tossed a bag into the back seat and got into the car, I winced as he started the engine and drove off
"So do you have any homework tonight" enji said placing a hand on my thigh, "yeah but not an overbearing amount" a simple response didn't fly over in this car because he asked
"what do you mean overbearing amount?" Damn this guy was going to be the death of me, not even mentioning his hand that feels like it's burning a hole in my thigh
"I'm just glad I don't have math that's why" it was dumb I know, but I've used rudeness to deflect how uncomfortable,
I've been in certain situations before and this in one of them the only odd part is he didn't seem to care that I was rude nor that I was uncomfortable, no this time he smiled at me, a truly wicked smile
I felt my hear sink in my chest,
"sorry just a rough day at school" he turned his eyes back to the road puting his other hand back on the steering wheel all with that smile.
