CHAPTER EIGHT

Six months later
Amanda knocking and ringing the doorbell “Bianca open the door you were gone for five months and you’ve been in that apartment for the whole month come on please open the door I just want to make sure that you are alive and fine, Bianca! Okay fine you want to be stubborn fine even I can be stubborn today I’m not leaving from here until you open this door” I climbed down the stairs and walked to the door I looked through the peep hole I saw Amanda breathing out heavily “Bianca please to talk to me just let me hear you okay in there”
I sighed “I’m fine” I whispered
Amanda was relieved to hear her best friend voice “Okay” She turned around and walked to the elevator
I unlocked the door and opened it then stood at the doorway “I thought you said you’re not gonna leave today” I whispered Amanda turned around smiling then she paced back to me and gave me a tight hug
  “I’m so glad to see you sweetie” Amanda whispered
  “Me too okay let’s get inside” We both walked back inside my loft then I closed the door behind us we went to the living room and sat on the couch.
Amanda looked at me “For five months you were gone where you, no call were just a text”
I smirked “I know and I’m sorry for worrying you but after all that happened I just needed some time alone away from everyone”
  “Yeah I hear but still you can’t keep yourself locked up in here forever”
I got up and went to the kitchen “I wasn’t planning to stay locked up forever but I’ve been busy” I took two glasses out and putted them on the kitchen top.
Amanda turned from the couch and looked at me “Doing what?”
I opened the fridge and took out the juice out “Firstly dealing with my emotions and” I poured juice in the glasses “thinking about your advice”
  “Advice?” Amanda asked being confused
  “Yep” I walked back at the living room and handed one glass of juice to Amanda then sat down “I’m starting my own event planning business so this whole month I’ve been busy with that creating portfolio etc…”
Amanda smiled “Wow I’m so happy to for you” then she drunk her juice being anxious
I gave her side stare raising my eyebrows “Okay, what’s wrong?”
  “What do you mean?”
  “You have been wanting me to do this for a long time but you are not jumping around like I thought you would”
Amanda smiled “Do you know that well?”
I knotted my head “I’m afraid so, talk to me what’s going on?”
  “Well two months back Shane and I” Amanda looked at me hesitating to speak “Never mind it’s not important”
I smiled “You two decided to get married!” Then I putted my glass on the table and looked at Amanda was shocked “Right?”
She breathed out “Mm I’m sorry I didn’t want to upset you with this news” Amanda whispered having a teary eye
I held her hands “Hey never ever say such things so what my engagement was broken that doesn’t mean I can’t be happy for you and Shane alright?”
  “Okay but are you really sure you okay with this news?”
I knotted my head “100% sure come here” I gave her a tight hug “So when I are you guys planning to tie the knot?”
  “In a week” then she drunk her juice
I stared at her shocked “A week?”
  “Yes we already know what we want we agreed to have a small intimate wedding with just close friends and family only and most of things are paid off”
I knotted my head “Then I have a lot work to do” Amanda looked at me with blank look more of being confused
I stared at her “Don’t look at me like that your wedding will be planned by me even though you are making it small and intimate I want it to be gorgeous like the bride will be”
  “Are you sure you want to do this?”
  “Positive but now that I’m going to plan your wedding you do know I can’t be your maid of honour right?” I whispered
  “No Bianca you are my only best friend who I’m I going to ask if not you”
I breathed out heavily and looked at Amanda “Then I guess I have double on my head” She jumped on me and gave me a tight hug.

The next few days Amanda and I we were so busy planning her wedding she went on wedding dress fitting while Shane went to the tux fitting also then Amanda and Shane went to the cake tasting after they did menu selection for what food to be served at their wedding and everything was getting in order then on Friday afternoon I had organised a small bridal shower for Amanda at her coffee shop such I was amazing all the ladies where there we had got her some sexy gifts which others were really sassy
I raised my glass of juice “Ladies to Amanda” I yelled
  “Congratulations Amanda” All ladies yelled raising their glasses of wine
After when the bridal shower was over Amanda and I went to her and Shane’s apartment we putted the gifts bags on the floor and we sat down on the couch laughing
  “Well everything is ready and done for” I whispered
Amanda smiled “I couldn’t have done it without you thank you and there is something I’ve been meaning to tell you”
I looked at her “Oh yeah what is it?”
She held my hands “Shane have asked Luke to be his best man”
I smirked at her “Yeah I know Shane already told me again it’s not about me and Luke it’s about you and Shane so don’t worry I’ll be fine I promise” I gave her a fake smile
Amanda smiled “You know sitting here reminds me of you and Luke collusion”
My mind remembered that night:
I ranged the door bell and Amanda opened the door with a serious face “7pm sharp”
  “I know I’m sorry” I got inside
Amanda held my hand and we walked to the others “Guys look who is finally here, Luke I would like you to meet my best friend” Luke turned around and we stared at each other with shock and rage
  “You…” Luke and I spoke at the same time causing Shane and Amanda to stare each other than at us with confusion
  “What are you doing here?” I asked Luke
  “You dare to ask me, what are you doing here?” Luke shouted I stare at him and gave him a dare while lifting one of my eyebrow Luke pointed a finger at me looking at Shane
  “Wait a minute” Amanda whispered
Shane pointed his fingers at Luke and me standing between us “You two know each other?”
I looked at Amanda and shouted “His the tallest pole I told you about” Amanda quickly looked at Luke with wide opened eyes
  “She’s the stupid girl I told you about” Luke shouted looking at Shane, Shane quickly turned and looked at me raising his eyebrows being shocked
  “Don’t call me that” Again Luke and I spoke at the same time pointing fingers at each other
Shane and Amanda looked at each other “Oh I see, okay you two need to calm down and tell us what’s going on” Shane whispered
Amanda pointed at me “You start”
I breathed out “He bumped into me and had some nerve to call me stupid girl”
Shane turned to Luke “Mark really dude?”
  “Wait she called me tall pole first” Luke whispered
Amanda turned to me “Bianca really?”
I rolled my eyes a bit “Okay fine I called him that but he bumped into me and he didn’t even say sorry”
  “Even you didn’t apologies to me”
Amanda shook her head “You know what you two need to end this feud right here right now, come on” Luke looked at Shane”
  “Mark don’t look at me like that you heard her” Shane said looking at Luke
  “Come on shake it off like adults” Amanda whispered
Luke and I we looked at each other’s hands
  “Shake it off no way” Luke said
I shook my head “Forget it”
  “Guys please come on are you intending to be like this all your lives we are friends” Shane whispered
Luke looked at me and held out his hand to me I looked up at him then his hand I held his hand and we shook hands while we were staring at each other’s eyes for couple of seconds
Memory ends:
Amanda held my shoulder “Are you sure you gonna be okay?”
I shook my head “No but I’ll try”
  “I just don’t want to see you sad” Amanda whispered
I smiled and hugged her “Don’t worry about me I’m a big girl I’ll be fine”
Shane walked in “Ladies”
Amanda and I broke the hug I looked back at him “What are you doing here?” I asked
  “Relax I’m just here to collect of my things then I’ll be on my way”
  “In that case it’s good you came, keep her busy for while I have work to do” I whispered while standing up and taking my bag
  “But we were talking”
Shane winked at me “Honey, Bianca has some final touch ups for our wedding tomorrow so she needs to go”
  “Thank you Shane and I’ll see myself out next I’ll see two would be at your wedding don’t be late” I whispered both smiled “Good night” I walked away heading to the door
  “Good night don’t be late tomorrow” Amanda yelled I waved at them and opened the door and closed it behind me “Is Luke still coming to the wedding?”
Shane took an apple from the table “Mm yes”
Amanda knotted her head “Good”
  “Meddling should be the last thing we should do when it comes to these two my love”
Amanda looked at Shane “We are not meddling we will help them out it’s been six months now they love each other I saw that on Bianca’s eyes today she still loves him”
  “Yeah Luke also keep asking me about her every time when I talk to him he sounds so down and sad but you know how Luke is”
  “Exactly we need to make them realise how much they still love each other”
  “And our wedding it’s a perfect day to bring them together”
Amanda knotted her head “Now you get my point?”
  “Absolutely you are brilliant Mrs Knox to be” Amanda smiled and both them kissed
As I was driving home I stopped the car when I saw a girl surprising her boyfriend when I saw her running and jumped on her boyfriend it reminded me of the time I surprised Luke at LA for the first time
Memory: Phone ringing
  “Hey beautiful, where you dreaming about me, to call me so late at night you should be sleeping?” Luke asked
I sighed over the phone “No I was missing you”
  “Really?”
  “Mm what are you doing?”
Luke breathed out heavily “I’m watching the sunset somehow it always brings me closer to my moon light who is across the world from me”
  “Really that’s sad so what would you do if the sunset brought her closer to you?”
  “Well I would be forever grateful to this merciful sunset”
I laughed a little “In that case I also should be grateful to Mr Sunset for giving me a chance to see this handsome man wearing a suit on the beach”
Luke looked at the ocean then his suits he looked around and finally turned around where he saw me he immediately stood up being shocked he started to run towards where I ran and jumped on him he turned me around we both were laughing out of joy
  “What?” Luke yelled he putted me down and looked at me not believing his eyes
  “Surprised” throwing my hands around his neck
  “Yeah how did you?”
I made a naughty smile “Like you I also have few people on my side who helped me to pull off this surprise, so what do you think impressed?”
  “You have no idea” Luke whispered and we shared a passionate kiss in the sunset at the beach.
Memory ends: I smiled and started the car again and drove away.
