Chapter 4

•Luke's POV•

I woke up and noticed Emily wasn't there anymore. dammit.

I got up and put on a shirt and smelt food .

I walked down stairs to see my mom Liz and Emily cooking breakfast. Emily was still wearing my clothes.

"Good morning Luke" my mother said to me.

"Morning mom"

Emily turned around and gave me a huge smile. I smiled back.

"Luke will you please set up the table?" My mother asked.

"Yeah sure"

I got the table mats and the silver wear. and stared putting them all around the table.
"Mom is dad here?"

"No"

"Oh" was all I could say I never see my dad anymore we used to be close but now he's always working.

Emily stared to walk towards me.

"Luke I just wanted to say thank you for last night again." she said with a weak smile.

"Stop thanking me. that's what friends do right?"

"Yeah" she pulled me into a hug and rested her head on my chest.

I kissed her forehead and she pulled away. I wish I could stay like that forever.

•Emily's POV•

I pulled away from mine and Luke's hug. he such a great friend I don't know what I do with out him. and I've been such a bitch to him lately.

Me and Liz put food on the plates and we all sat down and then there was a silence.

"How are you and Alex?" Liz asked. well shit.

"Oh um-" I was cut off by Luke.

"They broke up last night. that's why she stayed here."

"Oh Emily I'm so sorry I should have not asked!"

"No it's fine. you didn't know"

Then there was an awkward silence.

We finished our food and our dishes in the sink.

"Can I help you do the dishes?" I asked Liz.

"No you have done enough go hang out with Luke."

"Are you sure I don't mind helping"

"No really it's fine"

I walked away, and went up to Luke's room.

"Hey" he said.

"Hey"

"Want to watch a movie?"

"Sure" I said with a smile.

"Okay what movie?"

"Uh how about frozen?"

"Okay" he said with a smile. I never realized how great his smile was. it's beautiful. wait what the hell he's my best friend. I can't think he's cute! He also in my band. but he is soo cute. okay what the hell has gotten in to me?

"Um Luke I actually have to go my mom is wondering were I am I'm gonna got get changed." I said

"Oh okay." he said sadly.

I went to the bathroom an changed.

I came out and put my converse on and grabbed my phone.

"Can you give me a ride home please?"

"Yeah sure"

"Thank you" he just smiled.

"Thanks Luke."

"No problem" I gave him a hug and kissed him on the cheek.

I got out the car and went in to my house.

"Emily were have you been? I have been worried sick!!!" Mom yelled from the top of the stairs.

"I slept over at Luke's. calm down. I'm sorry I didn't Tell you."

"I thought you went out with Alex?"

"We broke up"

"What why? He's a doll!"

"He tried to have sex with me" I said quietly. she looked surprised.
And remained silent.

I walked past her and up the stairs and went straight to my room.

I texted Ashton.

'Will you come over I need someone to talk too'

Minutes later I got a response.

' sure I'm on my way love'

' I told you I don't like being called those dumb names'

' I just do it to bug you'

The doorbell rang I ran out my room and answered it.

"ASHTON" I yelled. I jumped into his arms and gave him a huge bear hug.

"Well damn I saw you yesterday." he laughed and so did I.

" well a lot could happen it such little time" I said while laughing.

Me and Ashton we were best friends, no one could spill us apart. I've always had a little crush on him but he would never feel the same way.

"Okay so what happened?" Ashton asked, while sitting on my bed.

"Okay so last night I went on a date with Alex and he took my to a cabin and we were watching a film and he tried to have sex with my and I didn't want too so he slapped am and kicked me out." I said while a tear when down my face.

"The I tried to call you but yo didn't pick up I understand why you didn't it was 2 am. so I called Luke he came and picked me up and I asked if I could stay over there and he of course said yes. when we got to his house we went to bed and him and I cuddled. and he whispered in my ear that he was never going to let some one hurt me again." I said while a smile creeped on my face.

"Emily I'm so sorry that Alex did that to you I wish I was there with you and to comfort you I'm such a dick I'm sorry about that.but with you and Luke do you like him?" he asked.

"Don't blame yourself it's fine Luke was there.and I don't know I can't like him he is out of the band and if we started dating and we broke I don't think I would be the same."I said sadly.

"You won't know tell you try."

"Thank you"

"For what?"

"For coming over and talking to me"

"That what Ashton's are for." he said and we started to laugh.

I pulled him into a hug.

•Ashton's POV•

Me and Emily were now sitting in her room. cuddling she was on my chest playing with my fingers.
Okay I admit it I like Emily I actually love her. but she likes Luke and they would be cute together, they really would and I don't want to get in the middle of that.

She fell asleep in my chest. she looked so beautiful. I soon also fell asleep with the love of my life.
