Chapter 1

•Emily's POV•
We all were just sitting around the couch, watching films.
Oh yeah I'm in a band called 5 seconds of summer, Im the fifth member.

I'm just the only girl in the band.

As we all were watching the film my phone stared to ring. Ugh great it's my boyfriend, Alex. I mean don't get my wrong he's a great guy but the band mates hate him. Mostly Luke but the mates are fine with him but they still don't like him.

I stand up and walk out of the room.

"Hey Alex" I say try to be as cheerful as I can.
"Hey babe"
"Uhh did you need something?" I ask.
"Uh yeah I was just wondering if you wanted to go to dinner tonight" he mumbled.
"Maybe I was supposed to hang out with the boys  tonight"
He sighed. "Why do you always hang out with them? There so immature!" He said rising his voice alittle.
"Babe calm down there my band mates, there my best friends" I say calmly.
"Well are you hanging out with them right now?"
"Um yeah" I mumbled
"Then I think you should come out to dinner with me. Your always with them I haven't seen you in two days" he said sadly.
I felt bad i missed him to kinda.
"Okay I'll go"
"Okay I'll see you tonight at 8:00"
"K bye"
"Goodbye gorgeous"
I hung up the phone and walked into the kitchen to make some tea and Luke came in. Great.
"Who was that on the phone?" He asked annoyed.
"Oh uh it was alex"
"Why do you like him?" Oh my god Luke.
"Luke we've had this Conversation before"
"Okay fine" he said and walked out of the room. God he so annoying sometimes.

I walked back into the living room and took a seat next to Calum.
"Hey what's wrong?"
"Luke" I said annoyed.
"What did he do now?"
"He's always talking shit about Alex, and he should be supportive of me if he was a true friend" I said rising my voice.
"Emily calm down just try to ignore him" he said trying to comfort me.
"Okay"
Okay so here is the story about me and Luke. when we were in school, I was the popular one and he was the nerd I guess he didn't have very much friends and he always wore like these wired green glasses.
*flashback •Luke's

"H-hey" I said nervously.
"Hey" she said with a smile God that smile could cure cancer and end wars.
"Um so I need to ask you a question" she said with another smile.
"Okay what is it" I said with a smile in return.
"I was wondering if you wanted to join a band with me and some other people cause I've herd you can sing and that you know how to play guitar" she said kinda fast.
"U-uh maybe I mean I don't know. who's gonna be in it?"
"Um Calum, this guy named Ashton
And Michael." she said the last part quietly.
"Um I will think about me an Michael are kinda not very good with each other." I said with a frown.
"Oh okay just let me know" she said with I giant smile.
