Chapter 11

•Emily's POV•
It's is currently 4:00 in the goddamn morning and I have to go pick up the boys. I'm going to pick up Ashton first so I can talk to him and sort all this shit out.
'Come out' I text Ashton

'mmkay coming' he texts back. I'm not really nervous to talk to ash, cause he's my best friend.

"Hey" Ashton says as he gets in the car.

"Hi. Did you sleep well?" I ask, trying not to jump to the subject that I'm dying to talk about.

"Ehh not really I went to bed at 2 am." He says as if it's not a big deal.

"Are you fucking serious?"

"Uh yeah, is there a problem?"

"No it's just we have like a 10 hour flight to Illinois."

"I'll just sleep on the plane" then it went silent, here go's nothin'

"Err ash can I ask you something?" I say breaking the silence.

"Of course" he says with a weak smile.

"I know that Luke talked to you about me. he told me last night."

"Oh" he says shocked.

"I just wanna say that he should have not of said that. please start talking and hanging out with me again I miss you a lot, and I don't want Luke to come between me and you. you mean to much to me for me too lose you." I finish.

"I love you so goddamn much" he whispers.

"I love you too, but not in the same way and I'm sorry," I sigh.

"I know you Emily Rose. you love me you just haven't figured it out yet." he says, as if he already knows.

"Luke asked me to be his girl friend last night." I whisper. He was going to find out soon anyways.

"What?" He shot his head towards my direction. "Did you say yes?"

"Yeah"

"I'm happy for you but you'll find out soon"

"Find out what"

"I'll wait for you," what the hell is he talking about? "Forever and ever tell you find out."

"Find out what?" I ask confused.

"I'll go in and get Calum." he says getting out of the car.

What does he mean "tell I find out" Im so fucking confused. I don't love Ashton and I never could, he's my best friend. Not ever.

"Hey em" Calum greets me, also snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Hey cal pal" I smile.

"No Michael we can't get food our plane leaves in 20 minutes." I say annoyed.

"But-"

"Not buts" I warn.

"Ha you said butt" he laughs. I'm going to strangle him.

"Oh my god it's like dealing with a 2 year old" I groan.

"Hey babe" Luke asks.

"Yeah" I say trying to find our gate.

"I never got a kiss this morning."

"Sucks to suck"

"Your mean"

"I kno- HA I FOUND IT" I say and point to our gate.

"Finally took ya long enough." Calum says.

"Okay if it's so easy, we have to stop in New York, you can find the boarding gate" I say giving him a glare.
