Fighting For The Female Alpha (ON PAUSE)

Prologue

Jezzabelles POV

"Your new alpha, Jezzabelle Johnson"

I forced a smile as I walked out to the large island full of all five packs combined for the new alpha ceremony.

I kneeled down as my fathers Beta, and second in command in our pack, Barnabas gifted me the crown my father used to wear. I nodded with a fake smile before turning to the new 5 packs I will now lead in the footsteps of my father.

It may have been just 2 weeks since we buried you father, but I will make sure to never let you down.

I already felt the eyes of the other 4 alphas on me before I could turn to smile at them in respect.

Some with happy smiles, while others looked back at me with envy. I won't let them faze me.

I earned my position as female alpha in this pack and my father had made sure that I was ready for everyone's opinion in the matter. Even if I didn't give a damn about it.

Looking back at the four alpha males sitting beside my fathers chair in the pack meeting room, I spotted their children fully grown and standing beside them all.

Abraham King - The 2nd Alpha out of the 5 powerful alphas on the island was sitting on the left side of my fathers chair with his 2 children. His oldest being a large tall male standing at 6 feet and 7 inches tall and his 2nd child, also the younger of the two, being his tall model like daughter standing at a good 5 feet and 8 inches and sometimes more when she wears her knee high black heel boots shes mostly always seen wearing. Just like their wolves fur, their family of four had dark black hair and their eyes were bright silver.

Kaden Gray - The 3rd Alpha out of the 5 was sitting on my fathers right side of the chair with his twin sons that were a spitting young image of himself, well speaking from what his wife used to whisper to me when we had our pack year celebration ceremony every once a year. Both the sons stood at a good 6 feet 5 inches with their wolves brunette hair color and brown eyes.

Frank Thompson - The 4th alpha out of the 5 sat in his normal seat beside Kadens chair with the only family he had left after his mate passed during child birth, leaving him with a piece of her that was now standing beside his chair. Unlike the other alpha males children, beside 1 of course, Frank's son was the same age as me. Standing at the height of 6 feet and 3 inches, was a 21 year old male wolf. The only difference between him and the rest of the other wolves bred from the alphas in the room was the fact that he inherited both his father and his fathers wolf fur color hair. Yes, both Frank and his son were the only wolves out of the 5 alpha family in the room that had white hair just like their wolves. White hair and light blue eyes.

Lawrence Campbell - the last but certainly not least, alpha male that completes all 5 alphas in the room with me now. He sat beside Abrahams chair with his two sons. His oldest son standing at the same height the 2nd alpha males oldest son, 6 feet 7 inches. The other son, younger one, on the other hand was 6 feet 5 inches. Both sons inherited their parents ginger hair color and wolf fur. Both brothers were gifted with ginger hair and green eyes, just like their parents. The only difference between the brothers standing beside their father, other than their height difference, was that the younger brother was my best friend and instead of being a ladies man like his older brother, he was a man that was interested in other men. Which was completely fine with me since I loved him no matter who he was attracted to.

"Now that we're all seated, let's begin with fixing all the changes beginning from now on"

My fathers beta announces while standing beside the chair I'm sitting in.

Barnabus Miller - Beta and second command thats family has been loyal to mine since the dawn of time. For many generations, the men in the Miller family has always been faithful to all the male alphas in my family. And now that I was alpha, I guess it was time for the elderly man standing beside to announce his son as the new Beta since his time to stand beside my father was over now.

"My time has come now, standing beside the wonderful alpha he was, Ben Johnson. So I now will announce my son as the new Beta of this pack. Barry Miller"

Barnabus announces before the doors to the meeting room opened as I spot a familiar smug face from the man I used to be close with for some time.

Barry smirked back at the other male wolves in the room before taking his fathers place beside my chair now with his head up high and his confidence filling up the room more than all the powerful male aura that was filling up the more earlier when I walked in.

"Now that my fathers gone, how about we start with getting rid of all you four old timers. Isn't that what usually happens at these types of things"

Barry jokes with a snort before I nudged my elbow hard into his side. Clearing my throat, I tried to calm all the anger that was brought up as soon as Barry finished his sentence.

"Now that the new Beta has been changed in this meeting, let's all rejoin the rest of the island to celebrate the new changes on this day. Meeting adjourned"

I announce before standing from my chair as all the alphas got up with nods. I watched as they all piled out of the room, along with the over confident new Beta of mine.

It took me a while to realize the only wolf left in the room beside me was my best friend, I mentioned earlier. Lucas Campbell. Lawrence Campbell, also known as the 5th powerful alpha on the island, 2nd and youngest son.

"What happened to never showing any emotion besides confidence in front of any alpha male? Did you not learn anything your father and I have been repeating to you like a bajillion times?" Lucas asks with a raised brow before pulling me into a tight hug as I smiled into his large body that was twice my size.

I wasn't even short and yet every time I was around my 6'5 best friend, my 5'6 height seemed tiny next to him.

"For your first day as alpha, I'm pretty sure it would've gone better if you weren't show casing the fact that you were nervous the entire time"

We walked out of the meeting room only to have our ears fill up with laughter and music coming from the rest of the wolves on our island celebrating the fact that I was now the 1st alpha out of the 5 powerful ones on the island.

"The question now is, are you truly ready to lead this whole island?" Lucas asks standing beside me as I let out a long sigh that I didn't even realize I was holding.

"Yes"
