Kaia's P.O.V.

Tumiim ang tingin ko sa kay Bleidd sa winika nito. "I'm sorry but I think you missed the part of my sentence where I told you that I have my own pack to take care of. I can't be your Luna." Madiing katwiran ko rito. I wont step down just because moon goddess decided to interfere and destroy the balance within my pack. Humans and werewolves in one pack is a dangerous combination, it is basically a TNT waiting to be ignited.

"Fate have already decided, we will find a way to make it work." He open the door of the cell to let us out. I can't help but let out a sigh of weariness. My life story is already complicated as it is, adding an alpha not to mention a possessive and unreasonable one is the last thing I would like to deal with at the moment.

Naglakad ako palabas ng selda at saka humarap dito. "Look, I know that a Luna is important to your pack but I am an Alpha. And a pack can't have two Alphas. How about this one? I have a proposition that I guess we can both agreed on. Why don't you just reject me and then I can accept the rejection. That way we can both spare ourselves with the headache and you can just find yourself a chosen mate or second chance mate maybe. Cool?" I tried to negotiate. I do not want to be involve to a wolf pack. Forest and the others is not gonna accept any of it. Well, I'm pretty sure Ross will not have any issue with it, in fact it might be a good thing for him but I have three other warriors to consider.

Alpha Bleidd smile at my proposition. I'm not putting any of my hopes high though, he is an Alpha. Alpha most of the time are too proud and mighty to listen, to be fair I don't listen to others much as well. He lifted his hand and reach for few pieces of stubborn hair that's covering my face. Then he gently tucked it in the side of my hair. It is a simple gestures but it is more than enough to spark something inside my heart. I can feel my heart beat in an unsteady pace as our eyes connect with each other. He slowly lean towards me, closing the small distance between us with the attempt to capture my lips. I wanted to stay still and allow him to kiss me, I wanted to prove to him that he does not have any effect on me but I know that I won't be able to resist him even if I tried to so I immediately take a step back to avoid something that I know we will both regret later.

Bleidd let out a smirk at my cowardly action. "Kitten, I have too much to do today. Let's just postpone that conversation later." Wika nito saka humarap sa babaeng kasama nito. "Ember, take the Luna to my room and prepare the guest room for her company." He ordered before walking out of the dungeon.

Naiwan naman akong natitilihan habang nakatayo sa tabi ng pinto ng selda. To his room really? We just met literally today and he is expecting me to share a room with him? I wanna punch him.

"Well, that's the Alpha for you." The woman which he called Ember let out a friendly smile at me. "Don't worry Luna, he is a good man. In fact he has been waiting for you for a long time now. So you cannot really expect him to agree with your offer. We cherish our mate and consider it as a gift from the goddess, rejecting your mate means you rejected the gift that the moon goddess prepared herself." Paliwanag nito saka humakbang tungo sa labasan ng kulungang kinaroroonan namin. I do get that, of course I understand that. But the thing is, I have a complicated life to deal with. Our pack in on the run, not only from those vampires but also from those people who knew the reason behind the existence of our pack.

"There are things that we need to reject in our life to avoid complications in the later date." I sigh as I follow the woman out of the dungeon. Ross on the other hand remained silent. I can sense that he has a lot of question but he respected that me and Alpha Bleidd have something to settle first.

"Complications are part of life in general. I'll give you an example. If the Alpha choose to reject you, he will have a lot of complications to deal with after that then he will be devastated also because he lost his mate. On the other hand, if he choose to make you his Luna, he will probably also have to deal with multiple complications given that you are a weird human in my own opinion. But even so, since you are beside him, his wolf will be stronger and happier knowing that he have a Luna to protect." Ember explained that made my eyes rolled in annoyance. Hindi na ako nagsalita. I am not gonna win at her if that is her reasonings.
