Five months have passed. Taehyung never saw Jimin or spoke to him, taking Jungkook's advice and blocking his number. He moved to a better apartment in a better part of the city, his job paying for amenities so that he can focus on providing the best articles for them. He's on the rise in journalism, but also in the music industry. His critiques of groups are so popular they seem to make or break a band. One band, however, he has yet to cover. And honestly, he can't wait.

He wants to see Jungkook again. They spoke only twice after the whole Jimin thing. Once was for coffee, and the other was an accident. It's been months since he has seen Jungkook, and he's kind of desperate. He wants to thank the man for everything he did that day. He didn't get mad at him, he didn't kick him out, he didn't curse or yell or hate him. He treated Taehyung with respect and kindness that is rare for the blond boy. That's why he wants to go to this concert. That's why he wants to use his gift and his position in the magazine to help the band gain the popularity they deserve.

It is a cool winter's night, and Taehyung dresses for the venue and the weather. He wears leather pants and a loose black long sleeve shirt, the collar cut low exposing his sharp collarbones and long neck. He wears a black choker to complete the look, straightening his blond hair to try and tame the wild locks.

He stomps into a pair of Converse before sliding on his coat, scarf, and gloves. After bundling up, he locks the apartment door and hurries to catch a train to the concert venue, which happens to be one of the larger concert halls in the city. Taehyung smiles when he sees the building all lit up, people waiting in a long line to be let inside. As a reporter, he gets early access and an exclusive interview with the band. He honestly cannot wait.

Taehyung pulls out his press ID at the entrance and shows it to one of the security guards at the door. They let him in and lead him through a line of security, taking his coat, scarf, and gloves, before he can fully enter the large, majestic, theater. Despite the building's elegant aesthetic of large archways, shimmering chandeliers, and beautiful murals painted along the walls, the speakers are playing a hard rock song with sweet vocals and hard guitar riffs exposing it for Jungkook's group, the Black Pearl. Taehyung hums along to the song as he is escorted from the main hall to the back where staff members, techies, and band members roam about, everyone excited and buzzing with anticipation.

"Listen up, everyone!" the theater manager shouts, and a silence falls over the group. Jungkook sits in a chair towards the back of the room, and he quickly looks up, his eyes widening when he sees Taehyung standing beside the manager with lips curled into a sweet smile and chocolate eyes gleaming with the same excitement that everyone can feel. It's been so long since Jungkook has seen the blond, yet he never was far from his mind. Jungkook fights the urge to run across the room and greet the boy, and Jungkook's friends can see how his resolve is quickly fading, "This is Kim Taehyung of Music and Memories. He will be interviewing Black Pearl before AND after the show. I want you guys to be as accommodating as possible while still getting your work done. Now, Mr. Kim, please feel free to get started," the manager says before adding a 30-minute warning to his speech. Everyone starts bustling about again as Taehyung wanders over to Jungkook, Hoseok, Namjoon, Yoongi, and Jin.

"Hey there. I'm Kim Taehyung--as you heard--and I'd like to start the interview as a group if that's okay?" Taehyung asks and the four nod before Jin can't keep his mouth shut.

"You were the boy from the house a while back...right?" Jin blurts out and Taehyung flushes, sheepishly nodding as he runs his hand over the back of his neck.

"Not my best moment, I will admit," Taehyung mumbles before Yoongi smacks Jin on the back of the head.

"Idiot, you should've let that drop," Yoongi snarls, and Taehyung quickly waves a hand.
