"Ah! Jungkook! Right there! More! I need more!"
Taehyung closes his eyes, shaky hands covering his ears as he leans against the wood-paneled wall. He hates the nights she visits. Hates hearing her stupid moans and screams for more. Taehyung would leave, but he can't. He has to stay because he's Jungkook's apprentice. To walk out now would be admitting failure, yet he can't escape her shrill screams no matter where he goes. He can be down in the kitchen, and the sound of the bed creaking and scraping the floor echoes above him. His bedroom is right next to Jungkook's, and he can hear the moaning clear as day in there. A few times, Taehyung has hidden in his bed, fighting his own desires when he hears Jungkook's deep voice growling as he pounds into her. The only safe place is the studio, yet Taehyung has been forbidden to go in there without Jungkook. He says it is to keep Taehyung safe from the fumes, but the blond apprentice doesn't know if that is true. His master is an enigma—a man of dark raven locks and darker eyes who has swooned his way into society as one of the most prominent artists. That is what drew Taehyung to Jungkook in the first place. His art. He has always loved his art and the way he can make an image jump out of the canvas with just a simple stroke of a brush and paint palettes. He learned the truth about Jungkook only after becoming his apprentice, but even that knowledge hasn't stopped him from wanting to gain as much as he can in this apprenticeship.
Yet the nights where Jungkook's benefactor comes over are the bane of Taehyung's existence. Jungkook usually tells him to go wait elsewhere, but a messenger came with a proposal that absolutely cannot wait. So that is why Taehyung stands in the hallway, his heart pounding in his chest as a blush taints his cheeks and the sounds of moaning burns his ears. He doesn't want to knock on the door and disturb them, but the envelope says URGENT. Jungkook needs to read it tonight.
