me , liam , scott , isaac , lydia , and stiles were all at a lacrosse game , me and lyds were on the bleachers cheering them on and stiles was benched- of course
after the game they won but hardly , the other team was liams old team and you could tell they kept trying to make him mad throughout the game , me and lydia got up to go congratulate them and i gave isaac and scott and hug and went to find liam but he wasn't on the field , i ran up to stiles to see if he knew
"hey where's liam?" i said
"uhh i don't know" he replied "maybe ask scott" he says
"thanks" i mumbles while running back to scott
"have you seen liam?" i asks
he shrugs not really paying attention since there's like 15 other people crowding him
i go to the locker room and see if he's there and i see him standing up with his head leaning against one of the lockers and him struggling
"liam" i say walking up to him
he turns to me and i can see his eyes glowing golden , i don't hesitate because i know liam wouldn't hurt me
"liam you need to calm down" i say walking up to him but he shakes his head
"go away" he says
"no , come on liam you need to learn to control" i reply
"(y/n) go away" he says
"liam come on" i say trying to help him
"please just go away" he sobs
"i don't want to hurt you"
"you won't" i say
"you don't know that" just as he says that scott walks in making me and liam turn towards the door
"(y/n) what the hell , get away from him he's gonna hurt you" he says
"no he won't"
scott ignores me and turns the shower on and pulls liam towards it
liam struggles and tries to leave
"liam stop!" i yell at him getting his attention
scott looks at me and i nod making him let go of liam
i put my hands on his shoulders and he struggles but not as near as much as he did with scott
i push him back into the water and he slides back down the wall so he's sitting down
i sit down right in front of him with my hands still on his shoulders
i let go for a second and he still struggles to stay there so i put my hands back and push him more into the water making me go into the water too
"liam , liam listen to me okay , just focus on me and nothing else , come on i know you can do this" i say , my hair and clothes getting more wet by the second
"no , no you need to get back (y/n)" he replies
"liam find your anchor!" scott yells
"i can't!" he yells back "i cant" he says softly this time
"yes you can , just find something that makes you happy and distracts you , something or someone you would do anything for , someone who makes you feel something" scott says
liam closes his eyes for a second and opens his eyes where they are back to normal
i look at him , giving him a soft smile
"you did it" i say softly , almost a whisper
we get up from the water and scott looks at him making sure he's okay
"i'm alright" he says reassuringly
scott nods and walks back to the field where everyone will be there to talk to him and congratulate him again
"what was it?" i say while walking over to the mirror making sure my makeup didn't smear from being under the water
"what was what?" he asks while getting up but not walking away , he just stayed in the same place
"your anchor" i say walking back over to him now
"oh , it wasn't anything , i just concentrated and stopped it"
"liam , you immediately controlled yourself after he said to find your anchor , that wasn't a coincidence. what was it?"
"(y/n) it wasn't anything" he replies
i look at him for a second and i was going to keep asking but i decided not to
"okay" i say about to leave the locker room to go back to our friends
"you" he says still not moving away from the spot he was standing in
"what?" i say turning around
"i thought about you and somehow it worked"
i walked over to him and put my hands on his face immediately kissing him , he kissed me back putting his hands on my waist really tight but i was distracted and didn't notice that much
he deepened the kiss pulling me closer to him (if possible) and shifting , pushing me against the wall
