Guitar Pain Break (Wilbur x Reader)

I've been learning guitar lately and it's painful, fingers hurt, brain hurts, so on. Then I remembered Wilbur plays guitar and then boom, oneshot idea. Enjoy.

Second person POV

You were currently sitting next to Wilbur on the couch in his living room, him teaching you how to play a few note on the guitar that you had in your arms. You were slowly getting more annoyed because of how many times you had silenced strings by accident, how your fingers were starting to hurt, and a few other things. Wilbur looked at you and after a moment of staring at you he gently took the guitar out of your hands and set it off to the side.

You looked at him confused a moment before he gently held your hands and rubbed the tops of them. "How about we take a break for a bit? Maybe have a drink or something?" He asked and smiled slightly. You smiled slightly and nodded before saying, "Sure, I don't see why not." Wilbur let go of your hands before getting up and walking to the kitchen. You got up and followed him to the kitchen only to see him getting two wine glasses and a bottle of red wine.(He does drink it, he said he only drinks vodka and red wine on stream so yeah.) 

Wilbur looked over at you and smiled before saying, "Hope you don't mind red wine. If you prefer vodka though I have that too." He said and grinned slightly. "Red wine is fine." You said to which he nodded and poured both of you and him a cup of wine. You picked up your cup about to take a sip only for Wilbur to stop you. "How about we make a toast." He said while smiling. You smiled and asked, "What are we making a toast for?"

Wilbur went quiet a moment before shrugging. "Anything I guess." He said and chuckled slightly. You smiled still and replied jokingly with, "Fair enough, get the bread time to make toast." making Wilbur laugh and smiled before saying, "N-not that kind of toast." "Yeah I know, I had to though." You replied again. Wilbur stared at you a moment before putting his cup down. "C-can I ask you something?" He asked, to which you answered with, "Sure, what is it?"

"Well... Are you actually enjoying learning to play the guitar with me teaching you? If you don't it's fine just let me kn-" You cut him off with, "Wilbur, of course I'm enjoying it. Why would I of gotten a guitar and asked you to teach me and proceed in having you teach me for a month if I didn't enjoy it?" Wilbur was quiet for a moment before saying, "Yeah, you're right." this making you put down your cup and hug him before saying, "I would've said something sooner if I didn't enjoy it."

Wilbur looked down at you(He's 6'4-6'5 so he's likely taller than you.) before saying, "I wanna ask something else as well. W-would you like to go on a date with me at some point? I feel like we've grown really close because of the guitar lessons... and I always get... R-really excited when you come over that I almost want you over everyday... B-but what do you say? Will you go on a date with me at least once?" You looked up at him and smiled brightly.

You answered him jokingly with, "I'll go out with you only if I get to be your girlfriend." to which Wilbur laughed and replied with, "Fine by me!" and with that, you guys made a toast, drank your cup of wine and went back to the guitar lessons. Soon it was time for you to go home and as you were about to head out, Wilbur stopped you, making you look at him before giving you a light peck on the lips. He then said, "Be careful for me, alright?" 

You kissed him on the cheek and answered with, "You can't make me but I will. Just for you." only for him to reply with, "Don't make me drive you home so I can make you be careful." which made both of you laugh. "Okay fine. I'll see you tomorrow Wilby." You said walking outside and starting to walk home, turns out a break from guitar pains help a lot more than what you thought. The end.

I hope ye enjoyed, I made this in the time span of about an hour or two after I was messing with my guitar enough to make my fingers hurt and be stressed because of how guitars work. Updates will likely be irregular so yeah. See ya next time.
