Usnavi and I were best friends he was really the only person I could report my bad days to because my parents weren't usually there for me,my parents weren't the ones who calmed me down when I was afraid of the dark and tell me nothing scary was in the dark.
Snapping out of my thoughts I decided to roll out of bed get dressed and take a stroll down to the bodega usnavi runs, as i'm walking down the street I see Vanessa, "Vanessa!!" I yell exited and hug her "what are you doing here it's been so long" she asked "just came to see one of my best friends usnavi"
"Well he's right over there" she tells me and points, she smiles pats my back and heads back to the salon "it's was nice running into to again" she says waving "bye!" I yell
Anyways back to me and usnavi I opened the door to see sonny "oh hey sonny where's usnavi?" "He's in the chip isle" "thanks"
I cha cha my way over to him attempting to make him laugh and he just gave me that cute smile he does (like come on now 😂) "someone in a good mood today?" Usnavi asked "well yeah I'm in the same place as my best friend right now so what else could it be" he gave me that look like a guy who was just friend zoned by their crush, and I immediately knew what he was feeling, I was the crush friend zoning the guy I felt so bad because I didn't think he had feelings and I know for sure I have them for him too
Time skip a couple hours
I helped usnavi put some stuff away when it's closing time I sit up on the counter like I always did when we were younger usnavi comes from locking the door and hops to sit next to me "would you accompany me at the club tonight Vanessa invited everyone and I asked if I could bring you,she said yes" usnavi asked
"Oh yeah of course sounds like fun" I place my head on his shoulder."exhausted?" He asked "yup, you too?" I ask looking up at him,he nods putting his head on mine and we sit in a comfortable silence for awhile in between the silence he wraps his arms around me "are you ok Navi" I've been calling him Navi since we were little, "I'm ok it was just a overwhelming day here" I frown and nuzzled into his touch.
Usnavi and I flinch out of our position when we heard a "whoooo!, who's ready for the club" it was Vanessa who just barged in "I thought I locked the door!" Usnavi said startled "well I guess you didn't" she says jokingly "anyways let's go to the club and get our party on shall we" Vanessa says "alright let's go" I say

At the club
Every one is dancing and having fun maybe a little drinks. I was a bit nervous because I rarely went to clubs and Usnavi noticed how anxious I looked so he grabbed my hand and said "we don't have to be here it's your choice" he was so sweet that's why I love him "no it's-before I could finish my sentence the lights go out and the music stops. Someone yelled "BLACKOUT!!!" my heart started to race my hands got sweaty "Navi!" I yell panicked because I never overcame my fear of the dark and the only person who knew about my fear was Usnavi "I'm right here Y/N I'm right here" he says still holding my hand " I'm gonna check what's going on I'll be right back ok"
"No! Navi don't leave please! Stay with me"
"Ok, ok I'll stay" he says blushing but caring
"Can I tell you something" he says taking me in his arms "yeah" I say shaking
"I love you and I know you love me too" he says while planting a kiss on my forehead and I calmed down for once "I do" I say back to him
I decided to make a move and kiss him there and once we did the lights came back on I pulled away and usnavi said "come on let's get out of here" we smile walking out hand in hand and I can actually say I overcame my fear of the dark all I have to to is think of that moment and I'm ok.

Hiiiiii another emotional roller coaster it may be because I'm on my time of the month and my emotions get the best of me, is that TMI I don't know, also I'm gonna start waiting for requests again because I got most of Lin's characters so comment Lin's character or him his self and what you want the chapter to be about, anyways it's 2 am for me so good night 😽
