Standing across from me was Geto Suguru. This was the second time he appeared in front of me this year. What the hell did he want from me?! I was too far to call for Gojo to rescue me, and if I tried to dial his number...who knows what Geto would do to the civilians. In fact, he hates these monkeys so without a doubt, he would kill them with no hesitation.
"Set Nozomi free." Geto simply said, keeping a good distance between us.
"What?" I couldn't understand what he was saying. How can I set Nozomi free if she and I were the same?! It's impossible to separate her from me. "What are you talking about?" I began stepping back from him, fearing what he'll do to me. "No, get away from me! I don't care what you have to mumble about!"
Before I could fully run away, Geto grabbed a hold of my arm and pulled me closer to him as he sneered at me with a creepy expression. My heart rapidly beat in terror. What in the world was he going to do to me in the public eye? "Then I'll make sure that their tragic love story repeats. Congratulations to the new birth of Nozomi! You are with child, dear Ena." Geto immediately let go of me and disappeared from my sight.
He left me in a perplexed state. "H-huh?" Everything happened too quickly. He was here then left in a flash. Good thing he didn't harm me...but he did say some weird things from his unfathomable mouth. "What did he mean 'the new birth of Nozomi'? And...there's no way I'm pregnant either. He's bluffing..." Maybe Geto's just on drugs these days. I don't know.
Either way I regrouped with the others and didn't tell Gojo about my encounter because I believe Geto's words were full of lies to scare me. He always loved to pop around me when I'm alone. It's really scary if I do say so myself. I'm never prepared to handle him.
1 month later,
Gojo and I were in the teacher lounge at the Tokyo jujutsu school while Naozumi was at his grandparents' house. There was a meeting with all the sorcerers in Japan to gather so we had to attend. If we weren't obligated to go, then we would be cuddling in bed watching movies. However, as of right now, we were waiting for the two principals to get here, so we decided to chillax in the lounge room until it was time.
Shuffle shuffle
Gojo, who sat right next to me on the two seater leather couch, turned his body to face me. A loving smile painted his lips, sticking his hand out as he caressed my face gently. His large hand was warm against my cold cheek. "Babe, your eyes are beautiful." Gojo randomly said in a romantic way. Despite it being out of the blue, I adored it because it made me feel happy and loved by him.
My heart warmed and swelled, spreading throughout my whole body like a ripple effect. His comment put me in a good mood. "Aww, thanks babe." I pecked a kiss on his cheek as a token of my love. Gojo's such a sweet yet annoying husband. How can I not love him? His whimsical behavior and antics were questionable, but I always disregard them because nothing can stop me from loving this man.
"But you know what's more beautiful?"
"Uhh... Nao's eyes? Even though he has mine??"
"Nope! It's my eyes!" Gojo grinned proudly, slipping off his blindfold and showing me his azure eyes.
Instantly, my heart deflated and I regret thinking that my love never ceased for him because I think it did just now. This man in front of me was a liar. He only showered me with compliments to turn it to himself... This self-centered bastard.
In annoyance, I slipped his blindfold back on and rubbed off the kiss I gave him. My fingers aggressively tugged his skin as he complained to me, "Honey!! You're going to make me get wrinkles faster! Be gentle to my faceeee!" He tried swatting my hands off him but he couldn't.
