A few days have passed since I recovered from the sudden illness that crept up on me after the goodwill event. I was bedridden for days until one day Gojo came back home with a reassuring yet successful smile. He didn't tell me how I recovered because he didn't want to worry me. Those days were painful: my whole body ached, I coughed out blood, I barely ate; it felt like I was on death's door. We had to send Naozumi away so he wouldn't have to be scarred from this troubling experience.
Gojo jumped into our bedroom, handing me a bouquet of roses as I sat up on the bed. "It looks like my wife is healthy! She's back to normal!"
I took the bouquet and accepted his kiss to my cheek. I couldn't imagine the stress he went through because of the illness. The disruption of the goodwill event plus my deteriorating health must've reduced ten years of his lifespan. My poor husband did his best to glue the family together. "Thanks, Satoru. So tell me—" When I wanted to ask him how he resolved my mysterious illness, he spoke as if I didn't need to ask in the first place.
Gojo dropped to his knees, holding my hand over the edge of the bed. His sparkling blue eyes looked gently at me, and he spoke the words I didn't expect to hear. "I asked Sukuna to help us."
My head tilted to the side. "You...teamed up with Sukuna? This is the most bizarre thing you ever said." I can't imagine those two working together. They seem more like cats and dogs fighting rather than getting along. If Gojo did that it must mean he was desperate to save me.
"Yes, I had to. I couldn't find what was killing you, so I opted for Sukuna to help us. I guess we're lucky that he still has his weird attachment towards you." Gojo chuckled as if it was a good thing. Perhaps to a certain extent but overall no. I think he must have hit his head somewhere. This doesn't sound like the Gojo I know.
"I want to hear what happened when you guys teamed up, that's what I'm curious about."
Gojo explained to me that the culprit behind it was my clan, and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be hurt or not. I couldn't really tell because my feelings for them were numb. It didn't really phase me that much so I suppose it was a good thing. "Too bad I wasn't there to see it. They gave me hell, and you guys burned them in hell... Do you think the higher ups are going to say something about this?" It would be bad news if the higher ups knew Sukuna and Gojo killed the Kita Clan. Who knows what would happen to Yuji, the vessel and Gojo, the powerful sorcerer.
"Nahhh," He flicked his wrist in the air and stood up with a big smirk. "Sukuna killed everyone in the household including the servants. It looks more like an accidental fire than anything else."
A frown drew upon my lips. "Some of the servants were good to me... But it is what it is," I sighed, trying to block their faces out of my heart and mind. It's been 10 years since I left so I need to forget about them. They may or may not have stayed after I left so it shouldn't matter.

Gojo planted a kiss on my head and caressed my cheeks as we locked eyes with one another. "It'll be alright. They can't touch you anymore because they're dead."
Then out of nowhere, Naozumi popped inside the room. "Mommy! Why don't you grant grand—Sukuna a wish?! He did save your life after all." He plopped himself on the bed, snuggling in my arms. His innocent eyes stared up at me, and I couldn't help but wonder why he would ask me that.
"Nao, do you even know who Sukuna is?"
Naozumi nodded his head vigorously, and me and Gojo exchanged looks. Sukuna never came out when we were home. There's no way he could've come in contact with Naozumi.
Gojo planted himself near my legs and spoke seriously to our son. "Naozumi, how do you know Sukuna? Mommy and daddy want to know. He's not a safe person." Gojo's brows knitted and his voice subtly changed, not too much to make our son cry.
