The next thing when I woke up, I was shackled with metal chains. "What? What's going on? What did I do?" I stared at the long grey chains across the ground in this new room I was placed in. "Where am I?!" I couldn't recall anything. How come Nozomi's past wasn't filling in the holes in my brain?

Slam!

The sliding door opened, revealing the elders as they smiled evilly. "You went too far now, Nozomi. We tolerated enough of your deceitful actions. You turned your back on the family to commit adultery with another man?! You are well aware that you're engaged to the Geto's leader!"

I had the surprise pikachu face on. Nozomi was forcefully married into the Geto's clan? If her Geto fiance looked just like Geto Suguru then this was crazy. I don't want to think about this. My head hurts because if the future elders chose Geto over Gojo then our ancient history repeated itself. Quickly I composed myself to respond back to the elders. "Then shouldn't I be wedded to Sukuna?! Who would want a woman who's been with another man?" It's crazy how they wouldn't throw me out because I, Nozomi, slept with Sukuna. Most families would throw their disgraceful daughters away to save their reputation and face. Why did it matter so much that Nozomi had to marry into the Geto family? What benefit do they get?

Suddenly, an ice cold voice chimed in. "My clan wanted to annul our engagement but I declined that. I don't care if you slept with another man. All I care about is that you carry my heir." Nozomi's Geto fiance stepped inside the room, and I internally gasped in horror. He really did look like Suguru. The past really copy and pasted the future offsprings. This ancestor looked more unapproachable and sinister. His eyes held no mercy, and my skin felt icky just by his eyes staring down at me.

"You're now living in the Geto's household, and there's nothing you can do about it." The elders' last words slapped me in the face. Poor Nozomi... If only she stood up for herself in the past and rebelled. She shouldn't have thought for her family. They don't love her, Sukuna does.

A few months rolled by and I found myself getting morning sickness. My sense of smell heightened, I got hungry often, and being exposed in the sun for too long exhausted me. The family doctor came in and told me good news which I couldn't stomach. "You are with child!" My whole existence shattered like broken glass. There was no way I could pick up the pieces. How could I be joyful when the child I bore was none other than Sukuna? As Nozomi, I haven't interacted with my husband after the wedding. I ignored his existence as if he never came into my life. If the household and elders knew about my pregnancy then they would kill the child.

I blew another fuse again. "N-no... Please, make this stop!" I yelled, pushing the doctor away from me while I stumbled out from bed. Prickles of numbness tingle in my legs, and my hands bunched up in my hair. "I don't want this! Nozomi, just let me out of your memories! Ack!" My knees buckled, wincing in pain as I clutched my head. Fragmented memories of Nozomi's unfortunate pregnancy tormented my brain. Her family and in-laws all plotted to poison her food to induce a miscarriage. They wanted to get rid of the child because it's not her husband's.

"Ena... Wake up..." The familiar voice of my beloved Gojo echoed in the air as the Heian Period turned into a white backdrop. "Baby... You're just dreaming..." Squinting my eyes, I couldn't see anything as a bright light came out of nowhere.

There was a flashback of Nozomi being unaware of her family's evil deeds as she ate the poisonous food served to her. I don't know if she was dumb that her family wouldn't have found out, or she silenced the doctor, and the doctor confessed to the family. Nonetheless, Nozomi broke down crying when she bled a lot after consuming poison.

"Baby...! Baby...! Wake up... Your beloved husband is here!"

My eyes frantically opened, and I rose up from what felt like a bed as my whole body was drenched in sweat. My back and neck were hot and moist. Beads of sweat rolled behind my ear and down to the base of my neck while my labor breathing heavily lifted my chest up and down while my heart rate slowed. Blinking a few times, I realized I was in the comfort of my own room I shared with Gojo. I recognized the familiar white blanket and eggshell color walls.
