The next morning, the five of us stood in front of the hospital. Instead of wearing a kimono like always, I wore a black midi high neck, long sleeved dress with black boots. This skin tight dress felt so weird but I'll get used to it. Gojo chose all of the clothes since I had a hard time yesterday. About yesterday's cry, Gojo brushed it off like nothing happened. He didn't act indifferent to me, so I didn't bother trying to be awkward with him.
"Alright. I put on the curtain, so let's head out!" Mei Mei announced.
"Hold my hand. I don't want you to get lost." Gojo stuck his hand out, and I took it fast without a word. I listened so I wouldn't cause too much disturbance for him. "Woah! Is this really my princess? Most of the time, I would hear some retorts." Did he really want me to argue right now? I knew how to be professional and mature unlike him.
"Yes. This is your mission and I will try my best not to be a hindrance." I squeezed his warm, large hand firmly as we began walking inside the hospital.
It was a big creepy building when empty. It wasn't abandoned but it was evacuated for an exorcise. There was so much space and eeriness I couldn't stomach. I felt like I was in a horror movie. "Wow I never noticed how many spirits there were..." Spirits from different shapes and sizes roamed around the halls, but they didn't even think about attacking us. "Is it weird that they're not reacting to us?"
"It is but our biggest objective is the first grade spirit. If the roaming ones decide to attack then we will fight it." Gojo should've let me stay outside the curtain. I feel ashamed to be called a sorcerer because of my lineage.
"Yeah, I'll try to be much of a help if I can... I can't guarantee." Guilt spread throughout my chest. I just prayed that I'll be useful. I don't want to be a stoppage.
Walking in hand on the third floor, there wasn't anything suspicious. The empty floor gave me so much chills. How can I not be scared? The main target might pop out of nowhere.
"Princess, I know you're scared because this is your first time, but I will protect you so don't forget that. And you're going to need some training to shape yourself for battle." I knew deep down Gojo was disappointed in who he had to marry. I literally have no skills to survive if I was thrown on a deserted island.
"It's her..."
I heard a whispery voice from behind. No matter how bad I wanted to turn around, I chose not to. I don't want to mess with anything.
"It's Nozomi..."
Nozomi? Who's that? I began to feel uncomfortable as I gripped on Gojo's black jacket. "Do you hear talking?" I quietly spoke. Was I haunted? Or cursed? There could be a chance since my family is very messed up in the roots.
"No. What are you hearing?" Gojo stopped to listen to me. His ears were open to hear me out.
I didn't want to sound crazy, but hunting spirits was abnormal to a regular human so I see no difference. "This light whispery voice called out 'Nozomi' and I don't know who's that. Like—" Before I could say anything else, I felt a great force aggressively pulling me away from Gojo. It grabbed the back of my dress. I didn't have time to scream because in a blink of an eye, I was thrown into a pitch black room. It was oddly empty and no light source came through. I couldn't see anything until my eyes adjusted.
"If Sukuna was alive, he would be very happy to see you." The black figure said.
What the heck was that thing talking about? I did the dumbest thing and asked it a question. My voice trembled in the slightest. "Who's Sukuna?" I should've kept my mouth closed. I can't be a sorcerer if I question a damn spirit.
