When "tomorrow" came, Chanel was exceptionally nervous. This was mainly because she saw Ace's perfect self right outside of the building, leaned against his parked car as he waited for her.

But she was in the lobby, giving her appearance a once over while simultaneously giving herself the typical talk about filming a scene with a man and then going on a date with him.

A date and then sex was generally fine. But sex then a date was typically a taboo in porn because it blurred the lines which seemed to be the case with Cecelia and Dax. Chanel didn't need that.

"What're you doing?" Candy asked, joining Chanel in the mirror.

"Last minute check for a date." She turned. "Is the gloss too much?"

Candy chuckled then leaned to look outside. "He's so sexy." She shook her head. "If you spend another minute in here, I'm taking him."

She probably wasn't joking either which made Chanel sigh. However, she was glad to see Candy back to normal which was a huge contrast from yesterday. Maybe she'd finally tell the girls what was up.

"Where are you going?" She pointed to Candy's outfit.

"For a run."

"That's the lie you're sticking to?" Both girls chuckled as they walked out of the lobby.

"Yup." Candy waved past Chanel. "Hi daddy, where's your other half?"

Ace smirked and walked over to them both but kept his eyes on Chanel.

"Right here." He said, taking Chanel's hand gently. "You look beautiful."

"Thanks." Chanel blushed, zipping up her coat as an excuse to take her hand out of his

Candy didn't miss a beat to shift the attention to herself by saying, "She looks more beautiful with cum on her face and I look beautiful licking it off." She gestured for lusty visuals then grinned.

"I wholeheartedly believe that." Ace gulped as Chanel nudged Candy.

"Candy, you have to go 'for a run'." She said to her fellow doll.

"Right. Bye daddy." Candy winked at them both then turned to walk in the opposite direction.

"Let's take a walk." Ace placed his hand on the small of Chanel's back and started her down the street with the sun setting in the distance.

"You said you would clear things up. That's why I'm here." She said, getting straight to the point but that was mainly the result of nerves.

He chuckled, "You don't wanna enjoy the beginning awkward phase of a date?"

"Well, you can tell me how your day was but I'm pretty sure you fucked on camera." She cocked a brow and looked up at him.

"That's correct. It was with another set of twins." He said. "How was yours?"

"Not as fun as your day." She rolled her eyes. For some reason it made her more jealous to hear that the Savage Twins, specifically Ace, fucked some other Twins right before this date.

"You make absolutely no sense Chanel." Ace said with a sigh.

"What do you mean?" She stopped him by placing her hand on his bicep.

"You've over analyzed every single aspect of this." He pointed between them.

"No I haven't! I was just saying my day wasn't as fun." She was full of shit but she didn't need him to catch on to that.

"Chanel, every time we're together you can't figure out how you want to receive me."

How did he sense that? And where was this coming from? Chanel was sure she hadn't told many people about her feelings because, like the other dolls, she concealed everything.

"That's an assumption Ace."

"It's obvious. I know the rule: don't date after fucking on camera. But I clearly don't give a shit about rules." He shook his head. "I like you Chanel and I know you're thinking a lot about us."

Chanel turned away from Ace and put her hands in the pocket of her faux fur lined leather coat.

He was absolutely right. Until this moment, she'd found any and all reasons to push him away. Twincest, professionalism, no dates after sex. She had to be honest with Ace and herself for once.

"A year ago, when I met Hodges, I wanted to do something different with my life. I ended up talking so much and dumping all this knowledge on him." She looked back up at Ace. "Hodges loved it and asked me to join Doll House on the spot. He labeled me as the brains because I said the right things and asked the right questions." She scoffed. "I barely told him information about myself."

"Information? Like you graduating from Columbia?"

Chanel cocked her head at him. "How do you know I went to Columbia?"

"You had a class with Axel there a couple of years ago. He recognized you at the bookstore."

"You both went-"

"No, just Axel." Ace chuckled. "I was on the West Coast."

So they knew. Chanel never talked about her alma mater because why would she? She wasn't using her degree while she fucked guys on camera. It wasn't even an interesting talking point especially considering that other people in the industry came from turbulent or difficult situations. They had real problems that led them to this industry. Chanel had just been bored and confused after graduation.

"Small world." She said. "If I would've told Hodges that I went to an Ivy League school he would've escorted me out that day. The fantasy of brains and sex appeal is marketable, not the reality."

And just like that, Chanel felt a weight lifted off of her shoulders as she and Ace stood in front of eachother. She'd been concealing this part of her life for a year already. It was never the time to tell the girls or Hodges because they'd already branded her as the brainiac without knowing anything else. It suited Doll House so she had been complicit in concealing the whole truth.

Ace nodded in understanding before clearing his throat.

"The rumors about twincest started when Axel and I went to a product launch party." Ace started, "Some girls approached us and wanted to hook up in the coat room. We got caught and found out the girls were the editor's daughters. He manipulated the photos we took for the product so that he could protect his girls." Ace shrugged.

"How bad was it?"

"Well we're still tryin to clear our name eventhough the guy admitted to what he'd done." He smirked. "I would've told you sooner but the assumptions are sometimes worse than the accusations. We've been able to manage it a bit better but it's still frustrating so we don't comment."

Chanel had been overthinking everything with no grounds. Ace hadn't given her the treatment that she was giving him. It was unfair and dishonest. The truth was that she did like him, and her own mind had gotten in the way.

"Thank you for listening." Chanel slowly smiled at him which seemed to be contagious because he returned it.

"Okay, I've kept you out in the cold long enough." Ace pulled open the door to a restaurant they'd been standing near. "C'mon we need to lighten up the tone of this date."

Chanel laughed but didn't move. Instead she said, "Let's lighten up the tone at the penthouse."

Ace narrowed his eyes but closed the door to approach her.

"I hope you know it's still a date" He said. "Even if we go up there and fuck."

"I won't tell if you don't." Chanel smiled and took his hand as they headed back down the block to break the rules.
