Chanel parked her car in the driveway of the Rebel mansion then stepped out, instantly regretting her choice of Valentino studded heels on the salted asphalt.
When she shut the door and started up the driveway, she noticed a blonde figure leaned against a sleek black Lexus. It didn't take long for her to make out that it was one of the twins.
He didn't see her at first but as her heels clipped forward he turned his head slightly and smirked as if Chanel's presence was highly anticipated.
"Word on the street is we're famous."
"It seems so." She nodded, stopping right beside him.
She'd been thinking about the twins since the article came out, mainly because Doll House fans wouldn't allow the headline to die. They seemed excited about the possibility of a collaboration with Chanel and the twins. This had prompted Chanel to do more "research" on who these guys were and why everyone loved them.
"I'm surprised to see you here. Especially without your brother."
"Oh Axel is here but we're pretty early so we're just having some fun before our meeting with Victor." Ace leaned sideways on the car and crossed his arms. "What're you doing here?"
"We record a scene with Rebel on certain days of the month."
"And what does today's scene consist of?"
"Come into the Rebel Room today and watch if you want to find out." Chanel joked and watched as Ace cocked his head.
"I'd rather participate." He smirked which caused Chanel to blush.
Part of her research included finding out which twin held her gaze the longest during the book event. She had felt so drawn in to his stare and though it had been brief, she couldn't forget it.
"Speaking of 'participation'", Chanel cleared her throat, "today 'twincest' was trending on our Doll House website."
Ace chuckled and pushed off of the car, motioning for Chanel to start towards the mansion with him.
"I'm sure it was." He opened the door and let Chanel enter but she turned to look at him the moment that the door shut behind them.
"So you're not surprised?"
Ace crossed his arms as if he expected to hear more but knew Chanel was treading lightly. So, he evidently asked, "Would you like to ask me a question? A direct question?"
"Kind of." Chanel admitted, casting her eyes downward.
In order to not scare herself she didn't bother to look at their videos or any of their past work. What if the twincest shit was real? Every porn star had a limit or had a set of boundaries. Did the Savage twins have boundaries?
"You think we fuck eachother?" He asked with a hint of amusement in his voice which caused his tone to raise slightly.
"I didn't say that!" Chanel said, looking around to make sure no one could hear them.
As she turned, she saw Axel at the top of the stairs. He clapped his hands together and grinned.
"Okay bro, my work here is done."
Ace laughed, "Wanna see?" He asked Chanel who was evidently confused but followed him as he led her up to the second floor where most of the Rebel boy's rooms were.
"As I mentioned, we're trying to kill time with a little fun." Ace started. "While I was keeping watch outside to make sure no one came into the house, Axel was trying out a classic."
Suddenly, Chanel heard the sounds of shaking doorknobs, knocks, and muffled male voices.
The knobs on opposite sides of the hallway were tied to eachother by tight strings. Thus, as the boys tried to open their doors, they were met with frustration and disappointment. It was clear now that the Savage twins had decided to prank the Rebel boys and they'd been successful.
"What the fuck!" She heard one loud voice say behind a door which caused her to sputter out a laugh.
"They're going to kill you. Both."
Axel twirled a pair of scissors in his right hand and shrugged.
"Eh they're familiar with our body of work."
"But I heard a lot of people don't receive it well." Chanel said, looking between the two of them.
"Oh so you've been doing your research?" Ace smiled. "Since you're so smart, tell us what else you know."
"Well, I don't know much but it seems like everyone wants a piece of you two. Including our fans."
Axel chuckled, "We're here in NY from Florida because of the book deal so it seems like people want to capitalize off of that." He gave the scissors a final twirl. "They'll be over us by next week."
"Don't be humble. Every porn brand wants to do something different and you two are it."
"Maybe that's why your boss called us this morning." Ace smirked.
"Really? Hodges called you guys? For what?"
"Shit, our meeting starts in 5 minutes!" Axel exclaimed then held the scissors out to Chanel. "Want to do the honors?"
"No." Ace grabbed the scissors by reaching over Chanel's shoulders then smirked. "She's a good girl."
"I'll check to see if Victor's coming up the driveway." As Axel hurried away, Chanel felt Ace closer to her body which made her turn slowly to look up at him.
"You don't know what type of girl I am." She said in a tone that was close to a whisper, matching the intimacy of the moment.
"I do though." Ace bit his lip and studied Chanel for the longest second of her life. His green eyes were warm but inquisitive as if he were genuinely contemplating his next move.
It was Ace, Chanel thought, letting out an inaudible sigh. He'd been the twin to linger just a bit longer when Chanel was outside of the bookstore. He'd stared that night in order to take her in the way she was taking him in right now.
Ace's arm was already resting on her so he gently inched her body closer to his and bent down to kiss her cheek. His soft lips caused her to let out a sigh as if it were her first elementary kiss.
Though the moment felt like slow motion, it happened in real time and Ace took a step back to say, "I'll see you next week."
"Oh-yeah okay." She gulped hard, swallowing her embarrassment. "Good luck with your meeting."
Chanel gave a lazy wave then rushed down the stairs to exit the situation.
It wasn't until she hit the landing that she really stopped and exhaled deeply. Ace had just kissed her and her heart was racing. She wanted him. She didn't know why, but she wanted him so fucking bad.
