CHARLIE'S POV | 3rd person:

"Light.. why.." She mumbled, as she sat on the front porch of her house. She and Light had got in an argument earlier, and Light left. She teared up, sobbing into her orange sleeves.

"I didn't mean to! I'm sorry.." She cried out, quietly crying as the tears dried slowly but surely. 

She wiped her tears and got up, running into the forest. "I'm going to find you Light, wherever you are." She said, determinedly. Unaware of the dangers, she ran off, deep into the wild.

- Time skip for 4 hours -

She panted heavily, falling against a tree and hitting her head. "Is it gone now? Please be gone.." She panicked under her heavy breathing. Growling echoed through the distance, alarming her. 

"God damn it!" 

She said as got up and ran as fast as she could. "Go away!" She yelled, looking back to see a bear chasing her. She cried as she ran, "At a time like this I really wish Light were here!"

She spotted a cave in the corner of her eye and ran in as quick as she could, quickly stopping to catch her breath. Suddenly, she heard large foot steps. "Fudge." She whispered. 

She turned around to see the bear approaching her, eyes widening with fear. Suddenly, the bear fell onto the ground, causing a loud rumble. 

"W-what?"

"Charlie?! Are you alright?" She recognized that voice. Light. 

"W-what are you doing here?" 

"No time for that now, we gotta get out of here!" 

He held his hand out, as she took it, running back home as fast as they could. Once they got inside, Light spun around, gripping her shoulders harshly. 

"WHAT MADE YOU THINK YOU COULD JUST RUN OFF?" He snapped. Charlie stared at him with fear. "I-I wanted to find you.." 

"NO, DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED I WAS?!" Light yelled. Charlie growled, clenching her fists.

"Worried?! WORRIED. Your kidding, you YELLED at me this morning and now you say your worried."

Light's angered expression turned to guilt. "Charlie I-" 

"Save it, you know what?!" 

He loosened his grip on her shoulders, cupping her cheeks. "Light, I hate you." 

His heart broke with those 4 words. "Charlie no, I'm sorry please.." He pleaded, tears forming on his eyes. "Go away!" 

He watched as Charlie ran upstairs, straight to her bedroom and locking the door. "I really messed up, didn't I.." Light thought to himself. He gulped as he walked upstairs, knocking on the door. 

LIGHT'S POV | 1st person:

Here I am, standing between a door that separated me and Charlie. We were so close, but so far. I teared up, knocking loudly on the door. "Open up please!" I heard muffled crying, feeling my heart shatter into a million pieces. 

I did this, I did this to her. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to yell!" Yet I still did, I yelled at the one person who actually made me happy. 

"If your sorry then go away!" She cried out. "Charlie, we can solve this, please just unlock the door for me.." I said. 

I watched as the door opened to see a messed up Charlie. Her hair was a mess, she must have been crying forever and I couldn't do anything. Her eyes were red from crying.

"What do you want." She said with a blank tone. I held her waist, but she stared in so much doubt. "Charlie, I love you with all my heart. I didn't mean to do this to you, I didn't want to either." 

"What do you mean you didn't want to?" 

"Mom, you know how she is. Me and you know." 

Her doubtful expression turned into a natural state. I wiped her tears and kissed her cheek. We both giggled as we walked into her bedroom, sitting on the bed.

"Really, I am sorry though." 

"Light, I forgive you. I'm sorry too, I don't hate you, I love you." 

I pulled her in and rested her head on my shoulder. I laid down, her head on my chest, stroking my hand through her amber hair. I heard quiet snoring and smiled.

"Even if this was just a moment, I need you forever."
