On the way back to campus Emily and I hardly exchanged words. We were just silent. I tried to open my mouth but nothing came out.

"What were you whispering about? With that girl." Emily asked.

"I'd rather not say," I spoke softly.

"Why not?" Emily raised her voice.

I stayed silent. "She asked... if I was afraid of you," I said truthfully.

"Oh," Emily sighed.

"D-Don't get the wrong idea," I stuttered slightly, " you have been nothing but nice to me. I just need to get use to being around you."

"I suppose," Emily agreed.

Once we made it back to town we went straight to our next class. We followed the schedule till eventually made it back to our dorm. Emily placed me on the living room table and went to the kitchen to get a snack.

I layed flat on the desk and stared at the ceiling. Lizzy was all I could think about. Why did she have to be there. At the worst time. Why did she have to follow me. Knowing her she probably pieced everything together. I was too distracted to notice Emily sit on the couch infront of me. She jabbed my stomic to divert my attention to her.

"What were you think about?" She asked as she ate a potato chip.

"Its nothing," I said unsure of myself.

We sat quietly for a few moments till Emily asked," do you want a potato chip?"

I sat up and said,"sure."

Emily handed me the massive potato chip and layed it on my lap. It was the same size and me. I coulden't believe it. I took a small bite out of the chip and looked up at Emily. She hand no problem shoving a couple of these potato chips in her mouth. The thought of her eating these gave me a chill down my spine.

For some reason it reminded me of her friend, Blane? Blake? I don't remember in all honesty I just wish I could forget about last night.

"You ok?" Emily asked. "You have been spacing out a lot."

"Like I said before.. its nothing.." I looked away not wanting to lie to her face.

Emily looked at me with a suspicious look before eating another handful of potato chips. One good thing about being small is that Emily can't see my emotions as well.

It eventually became to quiet and Emily turned on the TV to fill the void. It instantly turned on to the news channel showing reports of a homicide.

"We are at the crime scene where Ben Walter was brutally murderd. In his very own apartnement. Victim is said to be 20 years old. A collage student attending University of Northwest," the reporter spoke.

Emily and I looked at each other worried a bit.

"We have evidence to believe 19 year old human Charlie Ekar is responsible for this murder. She was spotted not to far from the crime scene in giant territory," the reporter continued to speak.

The reporter held up a mic to a human girl in a small cage. "That son of a bitch deserved it," a young girl spoke towards the gigantic mic.

"So are you saying that you are the one responsible for this?" The reporter asked moving the mic back.

"Yes I am responsible," the young girl spat.

"How can a mear 2 inch tall human kill a 5'8 man?" The reporter asked.

"When he was asleep I went up to him and sliced his neck. The police confiscated my Marchetti," she spoke raspidly.

"How were you able to get into his home?" The reporter asked.

"He was my friend's ex," she spoke."He willing me let me inside."

"Why did you kill him?" The reporter asked.

"He abused my friend," She spoke, "she had permanent scars on her body because of him."

"Was it worth it?" The reporter asked.

"Yes, it absolutely was. Now he can go to hell, and most importantly my friend won't have to worry about him," she spoke.

Emily turned off the TV and looked down. "I'd rather not look at the news," Emily spoke softly.

"I kinda wanted to watch it," I spoke. "I never heard about a human killing a giant. You guys are so massive. It seemed impossible."

"I can leave the TV on while I go to the room," Emily mentioned.

"Why don't you like the news?" I asked.

"I don't like murder stories," Emily explained.

"Ok well I guess I won't watch it," I sighed.

"No no its ok," she spoke. "I don't want to prefent you from doing anything."

"Ok.." I spoke barley autoable. Emily left the TV on as she went to her room. She close the door which made me feel uneasy. What if I need her?

"Charlie Ekar is now going to he transfered to the human police for further punishment," the reporter says.

I turned my attention back to the TV and continued to watch it.

"This is outragous!" A giant woman in the back screamed.

"She killed a giant on giant property she should be prosecuted here!" A giant man yelled.

The police officer was still holding onto the cage containing the human girl. She seemed to be less calm than she was earlier. The officer started to make his way to the squad car.

"Sir sir!" The reporter called out. " what do you think of this?"

"I am just doing my job," he sighed. "I don't have an opinion. The police officer closed the door behind him before driving away.

"This is channel 54 signing off," the reporter spoke her last words before they closed. Then right after an ad for some cheeseburger appered.

That was not worth watching. I stared at the TV wondering when Emily was going to get me. Then suddenly I realized I have her number.

I dialed her number, "hey the news is over.. Can you take me with you?"

"Sure," Emily responded. Emily opened the door and walked into the living room. She turned off the TV and placed her hand on the table allowing me to climb on. It seemed pretty akward.

Emily walked in the bed room and layed me on the bed. She sat down next to me. I layed flat on my back as I gazed up at her. "Giants are very big," I mummbled to myself.

"Huh?" Emily asked diverting her attention to me.

"Oh I was just thinking to myself," I spoke.

The rest of the day Emily and I watched some Netflix and bonded a bit.
