"Joon, what did you think of the song I sent over?" Yoongi asked, twirling around in his chair. "Do you think it would work for that new group?"
"There were a couple of lyrics I would change, but the melody kicked ass." He answered, leaning against the door and looking at the small man. "As for the group, eh. If we're talking about 7ven then no. I think it would work better for that girl group Muses. It has sort of an other-worldly feel to it that suits their dynamic."
"Mmm. You might have a point." The dark-haired man hummed. "Are we still getting together tomorrow for dinner? Jin planned on making tteokbokki for Kookie for his birthday. 'What my baby wants my baby gets.'" He mocked his husband.
Namjoon couldn't help but stifle a laugh. He was so happy those two remained good friends with him and Jungkook after their time at Hogwarts. "Yeah, Kookie has been impatiently awaiting this weekend. He knows Jin always makes that for him for his birthday, and well, with the fact that my cooking sucks, he lives for dinner with you guys."
Yoongi shot him a big gummy smile. "Damnit, Joon sit, you know how I hate you standing over me." Motioning to the leather sofa against the wall, he turns away from the equipment in the room. "But yes, I'm glad we can make sure you both eat well at least once a week. School just started back, though, right? I mean, I know Jin's first day back was yesterday, but did Jungkook start early, or was it yesterday for him too?"
After graduation, Hogwarts had offered Jin the position of Potions professor. The current one had wanted to retire, and with the exceptional grades Jin had gotten, the job was his for the taking. And he took it. He enjoyed what he did, and he enjoyed the students who came through the doors. Being able to teach and mold other minds about the joys of potions finally gave him the peace and happiness he hadn't had since those first months the seven spent at Hogwarts together.
Jungkook, after much convincing to the school board, had gotten them to create a Counselor position at Hogwarts. He stated that those who ended up like Namjoon, not knowing the magic they held inside, like Hobi who had - not the magical power inside them but the capability to wield great magic, or even like Jin - someone who maybe didn't have magic inside them but had other reasons they needed advice, all needed someone they could turn to when they needed it. After explaining what went down those months, the six boys tried to help Hoseok, and the trials and tribulations they faced about it, the school board agreed and created the position only if Jungkook would be the one filling it. Now Hogwarts had a school counselor, and the three older boys couldn't be prouder of their little Kookie.
"Yeah, he went in yesterday to get his office ready. He sent me pictures when it was all done, proudly showing me that the picture you two got him had a place of prominence in the room." Namjoon smiled at the memory.
"I'm glad. Jin and I are so proud of him. He has turned into such an amazing man; you should be proud." Yoongi pointed out.
"Oh, I am. More proud than you even know." Namjoon looks down at his watch. "I actually need to go though Hyung; I told Kook I would pick him up since his truck is getting worked on. That boy needs to listen to me when I tell him to drive with care. He got lucky it was just a deer he hit and not another car."
"Bye, Joon. Jin and I will see you both tomorrow."
