Operation Infiltration

Chapter 3:New School -Conner-

First day of school. Man, I wish I wasn't here. I had spent all summer dreading the start of school, now it was here and it really sucked. If you were me, Conner, you would also dread going to a new school, because it means meeting new teachers. Teachers that have only heard about me from my old teachers in middle school. In middle school, I didn't really have a good relationship with the teachers, meaning they all hated me. Maybe that was because I was a little mischievous, and I liked to break rules for fun.
There are only two people that have stuck by my side whole time, and have never left, no matter what I did, Sky and Brett. Brett was my best friend and partner in crime. Sky had been a friend, but I wish she wasn't just a friend. I really want to be more than friends, but she didn't know that, of course, and I don't think she will ever know. That is, unless I'm positive she likes me back.
Brett and I entered school aware that Sky was staring at me. We talked about our summer and Brett got a little too descriptive when it came to his vacation, but I just ignored him because a second later Sky came up behind us. She asked what we were talking about, but not wanting her to know what we were talking about, we hurriedly changed the subject to the first class of the day. It turns out we had the same class together.
"I have Mr. Wright with you, Sky. Hopefully, we get a seat near each other." I said, realizing a second too late that I had just said I wanted to sit next to her. *Secretly facepalms forehead*
I walked into class really hoping that I hadn't just made it awkward between Sky and I. Before I knew it, I was gesturing for her to come take a seat next to me. A second later, I saw one her best friend's, Camille, also gesturing for Sky to take a seat next to her. Knowing full well that I could never get Sky to choose me over her best friend I turned around, but not before I noticed that she was looking at me with the most sympathetic look on her face. I just ignored her and focused on Mr.Wright, now pissed that she didn't even say sorry.
Class was almost over when I noticed Brett and Cameron outside the classroom with the most evil look on their face, and I knew only too well what was about to happen. The girls were about to get pranked. I didn't usually like pranking Sky, but since she had me so riled up about not sitting next to me, I figured that it wouldn't hurt to get some of that anger out without her actually knowing I was angry at her.
"What do you want? I'm in the middle of class right now." I asked Brett as he pulled something out of his backpack.
"I have a plan and it involves these. What do you say we show the girls who they are dealing with? " Brett asked as he gestured to the water balloons in his hand.
"Okay. I think there is a hose over there on the side of school. We can fill the water balloons up there." I announced as I slowly started walking towards the hose.
Once the water balloons were full, all we had to do was wait. It took about three minutes till the bell rang.
As soon as the bell rung, we all stood up and went into our battle position. People came pouring out of Mr.Wright's classroom. There were a few stragglers including, Camille and Sky. They seemed to be slowly creeping out of the classroom aware that we could prank them at any moment.
"Let the pranks begin" we all yelled as the first balloons were released from our hands. The balloons smashed against Camille and Sky; my first balloon hitting Sky right in her face.
Their next words were muffled as we kept hitting them with balloons. We ran out of balloons, but we decided to take the hose off of the wall and spray them like crazy until they ran away.
"Woohoo! Score-one point for "The Gang" and zero points for "The Club." Brett shouted as he ran after Camille and Sky.
The bell rung and a few stragglers picked up the pace so they wouldn't get in trouble with the teachers. We cleaned up the balloons and water and went to our next class.
