Oh no.
Instinctively, Mirae tried to dodge whatever the hell was coming her way, only for her body to fall to the floor with a hard thud, her phone slipping out of her hand and smashing onto the concrete floor.
Groaning, Mirae stood up wobbly, her face falling into a frown as she saw three new large cracks etched across her phone.
Her frown was immediately replaced with a look of displeasure as she saw the owner of the motorcycle sitting on the ground, seemingly untouched from the crash.
"Hey," Mirae said, approaching the stranger.
She wasn't the kind to engage in conversation with others unless prompted to, but this, this was different.
The stranger reached up and removed his helmet, his dark hair falling gently into place with a shake of his head, revealing a boy who couldn't be much older than Mirae.
He had the kind of face that stops you in your tracks. Perfectly symmetrical features, almond, mono-lidded eyes that held a piercing gaze, pale pink full lips that were separated into a somewhat annoyed smirk as he slowly turned to face her, several distinctive silver piercings upon his ears glimmered under the streetlight.
His cold stare meet hers for a fraction of a second before he tore away as several other motorcyclists appeared.
"Shi-"
The boy cursed under his breath, throwing his helmet towards Mirae in alarm and sprinted off before she could react.
The motorcyclists immediately chased after him, shouting for him to stop as they followed him down another street, leaving Mirae in daze.
It took a few seconds for her to comprehend what had happened and realise that she was clutching tightly onto the boy's helmet.
Cursing under her breath, Mirae decided to chase after the culprit who cracked her phone screen.

"You freak!"
Mirae's ears pricked up as she turned to see the group of motorcyclists had rounded up the boy. Not wanting to be involved, Mirae turned around and started to walk back to where she came from.
Hearing the sounds of the boy being beaten up, Mirae couldn't help but stop in her tracks. Reluctantly, her body turned itself around even though her brain was screaming to differ as she approached the gang.
"Hey!" Mirae said, just loud enough to grab the attention of the gang of motorcyclists, as they turned to look at her with harsh but inquisitive glares, "The motorcycles by the streets, are they yours?"
