𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄: 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐘 𝐔𝐆𝐋𝐘
He had been constantly glancing at her for ten minutes straight.
Or rather, Han Seojun.
If it had been out of context, Mirae would easily believe that he was some kind of wacko stalker who keeps children in his basement.
Such a small, small world.
Mirae was planning on waiting by the street tonight, hoping he would show up and accept the deal, yet he magically appeared right here. In Saebom High, in the same class, in the seat right next to her.
Mirae understood why he was looking at her, after all, she did indeed take his helmet. But burning a hole into her skull for ten solid minutes was just simply, downright, creepy.
"Am I really that pretty?" Mirae asked, turning to slowly to look at the boy straight in the eye.
"Yeah, you sure are pretty," Seojun drawled out with an amused smile, "Pretty ugly."
"Then go bleach your eyes and stop staring at me," Mirae answered deadpanned before she turned to pay attention to the teacher.
"I'll stop staring if you give me back what you stole," Seojun replied in a low tone.
"It isn't stealing if you gave it to me," Mirae said under her breath, as she turned back to her work, not bothered to glance at the boy.
"It was a mistake!" Seojun snapped back a bit too loudly, earning some curious glances from a few classmates before he continued in a hushed tone, "You better bring it to school tomorrow."
"And what if I don't?" Mirae asked in a mocking tone, purposefully leaning closer to the boy.
"Han Seojun and Na Mirae," the teacher said, causing the two to snap their attention back to the class, "Since you both seem to be so interested in discussing math, come out and solve problems one and two please."
Mirae stood up and headed to the blackboard completely unfazed while Seojun gave the girl a glare as he reluctantly made his way up to the blackboard.
"And... Lim Jugyeong. Try problem three."
Mirae never really had any problems with academics, considering the fact that her parents spend unholy amounts of money for her education.
The derivative of lnx is 1/x and the derivative of 2x is 2, so if you use the quotient rule on this function... it should give you... (1-lnx)/2x²
Mirae finished, placing down the chalk as Seojun looked at her with a mixture of envy and awe.
"Hey, hey!" Seojun whisper-shouted, "Give me some tips."
