Within the time Dream had been hit, he became feverish and distant.

His breathing was fast and shallow, like he couldn't get enough air.

George moved his hand to take of Dream's mask, but Dream turned his head away. "Dream I have to. I need to check what symptoms this poison may have."

Dream wavered for a second before letting turning back to George.

George removed the mask and George's face contorted in worry.

Dream was already sweating and pale, his eyes were glassy and tired, his cheeks were red and he felt hot to the touch.

Whatever this poison was, it was working way to quick.

Dream coughed roughly moving his hand up to his wound. He kept mumbling incoherently, George couldn't make out what he was saying.

Sapnap and Karl returned and quickly rushed to Dream's side. "Dream! Stay strong! You can get through this!"

Karl looked at them both. He knew nothing about what was happening, so he felt useless.

George turned to the two. "Go get a healing potion from my room! Quickly!"

Karl nodded and dragged Sapnap away.

"N-no... stay a-away from m-" Dream mumbled. He slowly began to tug at his coat, George wondered why.

George stared at Dream. What could he have possibly meant? Who did he want to stay away?

"Leave 'im alone... stopit... let go..."

Dream began to move and push. His feverish state only getting worse.

"Run! Bad... ru-n..."

George was confused, who was Bad? "Did he say Bad?"

Well, there was his answer. "Yeah, I think he did."

The raven haired blacksmith looked upon Dream. "How does he know about Bad? No one knows about Bad..."

George quickly pulled Dream close letting his shoulder be his pillow. Dream relaxed slightly, yet continued to tug at his coat.

"If you don't mind could you tell me who Bad is?" George asked.

"He's my best friend. He doesn't remember much, but he remembers dangers of the Red King. I found him barely holding onto the bank of the river one day when I was little, and I took him in and made him my friend. He won't talk to you unless I trust someone though..."

George nodded slightly. George tightened his hold on Dream slightly as he began coughing again. George gasped quietly as he looked down at Dream. Blood had begun to make its way down the corners of his mouth, this is worse than he thought.

Sapnap ran up quickly to George and held out the potion to him. George quickly thanked Sapnap and Karl and opened the bottle.

At first Dream denied the potion, but George begged him with tears in his eyes then Dream realized what it was.

Even in his feverish state he still made some coherent decisions.

George discarded the potion as soon as Dream had finished it. They watched hopefully for Dream to make any movement that he was okay, but he did nothing but let out a wet, bloody cough.

George looked in disbelief. 'That should've canceled the poisons effects! What is happening?!'

Dream looked to be in pain. His lips were stains red from blood and he was beginning to look ashen, George knew there wasn't much time left for him.

"Never use this spell till you're ready..."

He remembered when he was being taught to be a mage. He was taught a healing spell, but it took a toll on the caster.

Dream groaned and coughed again. This one weak and silent.

Dream didn't have much time, he was dying.

George looked at Sapnap. "I need your help."

Sapnap nodded without asking what he needed help with. He knew it would save Dream.

"Do you know any healing spells?" George asked.

"Yeah, but it's really risky." Sapnap said quickly.

"Then we're thinking of the same one." George set Dream gently on the ground and ushered Sapnap forward.

Sapnap sat on the other side of George on Dream's right side. "We really doing this?"

"Do you have to ask?" George responded quickly.

Sapnap shook his head in placed his hands above Dream's wound. George followed and did the same. The raven haired boy crouched down as well. "Bad taught me a few things. Plus, three's better than two."

George nodded and focused on the task at hand. Dream coughed and his head lolled to the side. George knew he needed to work fast.

There was no incantation for this spell, it just happens if you know what you're doing. George closed his eyes and thought about what he wanted to happen.

He thought about the way Dream so recklessly gave his life for him, he thought about that morning how he wanted it to last, he thought about that morning when Dream had stayed by his side so no one would hurt him, and he thought about when he first arrived and saved his life for the first time.

This is simply a debt being repaid. Though George wouldn't mind being for ever indebted to Dream if he got to see him everyday.

'What could I possibly mean by that? I don't love him... do I?'

George thought silently for a moment then realized. Yes, he really did love him.

A bright flash of light appeared and blinded all who happened to be there.

Soon the light disappeared and George shook his head slightly. He looked down at Dream with a worried and tired look.

Dream's eyes fluttered open and locked eyes with George. He smiled softly at George. "Thank you..."

George nodded slightly and moved to help Dream sit up. George faltered slightly leaning against Dream's chest. Dream laughed slightly, but George smiled listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.

"'I know it takes a lot out of you to heal someone, so we can go with the two tomorrow after you all have gotten rest.'" Dream signed.

George sighed thankfully letting himself glance at Sapnap and Karl. Sapnap had passed out against Karl and let out a few soft snores.

"Hey, can you lead me to a room?" The raven haired blacksmith asked. Dream nodded and moved to pick up George.

George gasped slightly when he felt himself being lifted, but wrapped his arms around Dream's shoulders and closed his eyes.

Tomorrow is another day...

Tubbo leaned against the mystery person trying to keep them warm. They hadn't woken up and he was starting to get worried.
