Sapnap, Dream, and pretty much everyone looked at George.

Then the murmuring started...

"What's he doing?"

"Those two are killers!"

"They'll kill us when we aren't looking!"

"He'll never be ready to rule a kingdom."

"What's wrong with him?"

"Why would he do that?"

George looked around listening to the people. He backed away and lowered his head. George willed himself not to cry.

"Mighty kings don't cry." His fathers words echoed in his head.

He began to shake, his body warning him he was about to cry.

No one noticed though. The boy clad in green inching closer and closer to the sad prince.

"What a dumb boy..."

"We should have been wiped out by the red king instead of this..."

"We're doomed."

George let out a sob and tears began to fall down his face.

But someone wiped his tears. He looked up quickly to see Dream once again right in front of him.

He couldn't read his expression because of the mask. Looked away to rub away the rest of his tears, but Dream grabbed one of his hands.

"Even the mightiest of kings have to cry sometimes."

George listened closely to Dream's whisper.

His reassurance...

George let out another sob and wrapped his arms around Dream.

The room was silent.

Everyone watched the boy clad in green comfort the crying prince.

They saw a monster lower his shields for a crying boy.

Maybe he wasn't ready to rule...

But, suddenly, everyone realized that he was just that... a boy.

Dream sank to the ground with George still in his arms. Even with his hands bound he still managed to hug George back.

George sat up finally and Dream quickly brought his arms to his sides.

Wait...

George looked at Dream's hands. Dream held the chains he was wrapped in moments ago in his hands.

George smiled. "You're going to get into trouble..."

Dream nodded and chuckled. "It will be worth it though."

George looked surprised. "So you don't really sign?"

Dream, just to prove a point, moved his hands in a fluent motion to sign. 'No, I do. Just felt like you needed to hear reassurance.'

George laugh and stood up. He moved his hand to help Dream up and he took it gladly.

Dream smiled and practically waltzed back to Sapnap.

"What was that..?" Sapnap asked quietly.

Dream signed a simple something. 'Reassurance.'

"Well..."

Sapnap, Dream, and George turned their attention to the king.

"I see you have no ill will towards my son, and I will grant you permission to guard him."
