- YOUR POV; as you turned the corner to walk back to your room you saw akaashi walk out the door leading outside. you decided to follow him- only because he would usually be asleep around this time.
(a/n: this is taking place after the talk w/ kags)
before the door closed, you swiftly moved your body through the opened space to avoid noise. you kept following behind him until he stopped in a grassy field and sat down.
you sat down next to him, and he took notice of your presence.
"akaashi, what're are you doing out here?" you asked, "this late too," you added, but he didn't respond.
'well that's new...' you thought to yourself.
"akaashi," you poked his shoulder. you kept slowly poking his shoulder and repeating his name with pauses in between.
this went on for a few minutes until he spoke up.
"y/n," he cut you off.
"oh, sorry..." you apologized.
"why?" he asked.
you stared at him dumbfounded, "why? why what?"
"i usually don't like being expressive with my feelings, but when i do try-" akaashi said but you cut him off.
the first thing you thought of was to give him a hug. so that's what you did. you turned your body to completely face him and embraced him in a hug.
"sorry," you mumbled, "i don't know what to do in these situations."
akaashi smiled, wrapping his arms around you lightly clenching your shirt.
"it's fine."
"akaashi, i wouldn't intentionally hurt you like that," you mumbled for him to hear. "but i have a deal to make with you.."
"hm?" he hummed.
"akaashi keiji, you have exactly one month to make me fall in love with you."
"deal, l/n y/n."
"good, now do you want to go inside?" you asked.
"no," he said, "can we stay like this please? just a little longer? you owe me," he asked, blushing from embarrassment.
"oh, sure," you patted his head, "and since a new month starts tomorrow, your one month starts tomorrow also."
"alright. so i have one month with you all to myself?"
"yeah, i guess."
"fine with me," he smiled.
you and akaashi soon went in 20 minutes later saying your goodnights. you didn't know what you were getting yourself into.
