- YOUR POV;
it's been two weeks since you and akaashi made the deal. everything seems to be going smoothly. the two of you would hang out almost every day. you noticed that both of you have been getting a lot closer within those two weeks.

now, you and cheyanne are walking towards school together.

"hey y/n, have you heard the rumors?" cheyanne asked, you shook your head.

"what rumors?" you asked.

"the one's about you and akaashi. everyone thinks you two are dating, but, i can see why they think that."

"hm? i didn't even hear about these rumors till now."

"well, it's not necessarily a bad thing."

TIME SKIP !

- AKAASHI'S POV;
as i was going to the cafeteria, some group of girls came up to me.

"hey akaashi!!" one of them said.

"uh, hi."

"so, we heard you're dating y/n! congrats! everyone at this school knows she's undeniably attractive. and, you're also undeniably attractive. two very attractive people together, wow.."

"yeah, congrats!!"

i stared at them dumbfounded, a blush growing onto my cheeks. i lightly shook my head at the girls.

"y/n and i are not dating...at least not yet," i started, "we're just...talking."

"oh, alright! sorry about that!" they all said in sync and walked away.

- YOUR POV;
you looked around the cafeteria looking for akaashi, but, he was nowhere to be seen.

"have you guys seen-"

"hey y/n," akaashi cut you off. "sorry, i got held up by a group of girls."

you looked up to see akaashi. he sat down next to you and began eating.

"let me guess, rumors about us dating?" you asked, he nodded.

"yeah, i just told them we were talking-for now, at least. people have been coming up to me all day today."

"same, a lot of people in this school believe everything they hear.."

"yeah."

the both of you continued eating and engaging in conversations with bokuto and cheyanne.

you didn't necessarily feel...annoyed with these rumors. it surprisingly made your heart flutter to know that people see you and akaashi as a couple.

now that you think about it, you're basically with akaashi 24/7. but, you weren't complaining.

TIME SKIP !

you were finally done with practice, and now heading home with akaashi. the two of you finally arrived and went inside. your parents were in the living room, watching TV.

"hey mom, hey dad," you greeted.

"hey, honey! oh, and akaashi! nice to see you again!" your mom smiled brightly.

"nice to see you mrs. and mr. l/n," akaashi smiled.

"we'll be in my room," you said, lightly grabbing akaashi's hand and going upstairs. you got into your room and placed your bag down.

"i'll be right back, i'm going to go change," you walked out of your room into the bathroom. after you were done changing, you and akaashi started on your homework.

unbeknownst to you, you didn't catch yourself staring at the black-haired boy for a while, until he said something.

"am i that pretty?" he asked with a growing smirk.

you finally snapped out of your gaze, "yes, you are actually."

"thanks," akaashi let out a chuckle, shaking his head. "oh, i have a question.." he said, you hummed in response.

"how do you feel about the...rumors?"

"oh, i'm not really bothered by it. it's fine with me, how about you?"

"same with me. and, that's good you're not bothered by it. i don't want you to be annoyed, or anything."

you nodded your head and went back to doing your homework. akaashi did the same and a little while after you both finished. since it was already around dinner time, he stayed for that.

"thanks for dinner," akaashi said in the doorway, putting on his shoes.

"you're welcome. see you tomorrow?" you lightly smiled.

"yeah," akaashi stepped closer to you, pulling you into a hug. "alright, see you tomorrow."

he let go and left through your front door. you waved goodbye and closed the door.
