- YOUR POV;
a few days pass, and there was exactly 6 days left till the end of this month. you knew your answer, it was very obvious to yourself. hopefully not to others.

it was obvious to yourself that you liked him. you'd be crazy to think after you went out on dates, kissed 2 times , and snuck out together that you wouldn't like him.

you were almost 100 percent sure akaashi knew it too. he might be "in love" but he's definitely not dumb.

so now you're making your way into the school, heading over to the classroom where you always meet in with cheyanne, akaashi, and bokuto.

except, when you entered it was only cheyanne and bokuto.

"where's keiji?" you asked, sitting on top of a desk.

cheyanne looked at you, "he didn't text you?"

"i forgot to charge my phone last night. it's in my bag charging with the portable charger i have."

"he caught a cold. he'll be fine though."

"oh," you sighed in relief. "well, that's not too bad."

"yeah," bokuto agreed. "but who's going to set to me?"

"i'm pretty sure there are other setters on your team, bokuto," cheyanne reassured him while patting his had.

"let's get to class," you gently smiled at the two of them."

TIME SKIP

school was finally over and you swiftly made your way out the classroom. you put some things back into your locker before leaving the school. you're now leaving the school grounds heading over to akaashi's house.

you had already texted cheyanne and bokuto that you were leaving to akaashi's house and told them not to wait for you. you also texted akaashi that you'd be going over to his house.

TIME SKIP

you finally make it to his house, now knocking on the door waiting for him to answer. after waiting a few minutes, there was no answer. but, you did get a text message from akaashi saying that you can use the spare key under the doormat.

you unlocked the door using the key, walking inside. you made sure to take off your shoes in the front and placed your bag down by the door. it seemed to be that no one was home- being that there was no car in the front and the house was empty.

you slowly walked up the stairs heading over to akaashi's room. you knocked on the door, hearing a faint "come in."

you opened the door to see a sick akaashi laying down on his bed. you walked over to him to feel his forehead.

"you're burning up- do you have any small towels?" you asked looking around his room.

"it's fine y/n, i'll take care of myself," he smiled at you. akaashi tried getting up but got gently pushed down by you with your hands on his chest.

"seriously, you should stay in bed," your face softened, "you need the rest to get better. i'll take care of you today."

akaashi blushed at your last statement but quickly listened to you and made himself comfortable. "alright then, the towels are in my closet."

you walked over to his closet and picked out a small towel. making your way to his bathroom, you dampened the towel with cold water.

"okay here, this should lower your fever," you said placing the towel on his forhead.

"thank you, y/n," he smiled, you nodded.

after that you made some soup and grabbed medicine from a cabinet. the whole day you stayed by akaashi's side taking care of him and whatever he needs. you even copied your notes for him so he doesn't fall so behind.

TIME SKIP

akaashi woke up to see you softly snoring beside his bed. it seems you fell asleep after working on the notes. a small smile grew on his face, as he gently moved your hair to the side to get a better look at your face.

"you're so cute," he whispered making sure not to wake you up. it was abt 7pm, not too late. he picked you up and walked to his guest bedroom laying you on the bed.
