Stretching, Issy opened her eyes. The sun was beaming through her bedroom window. She got up and peered out her window. Thousands and thousands of flowers were spread out across the feilds and she could only imagine the story of her birth from what her father told her. It was so beautiful and today was the day she was going to have to leave it all behind. She had been preparing for this day her whole life.

Today was the day that she had to leave home for good, never to return again. Sitting on the windowsill she pulled her legs up and rested her head on her arms. I really don't want to do this. She was daydreaming when she heard a rap at her bedroom door.

"Isadora, are you awake," Tess asked?

"Yeah I guess im awake. Do we have to do this today?" Growing up, Tess had played an important role in her life, since her mother was gone. She loved her like the grandmother she never had.

"I know this is not something you want to do dear, but it is your destiny." Opening the door to finish, " I know you are very sad honey but it will all be ok. I will miss you though." She walked over giving her a big hug.

"Ok, Ok ill start getting ready." She reached for the suitcase and began to pack away all of her clothes. No need to leave any behind, since she was never coming back. Her sadness was building up inside her and it took every ounch of her strength to not break down and cry at that moment.

"I will leave you to it, you are leaving in 1 hour. I have cooked breakfast for you, if you feel like eating." Faking a smile Tess said. " I will see you downstairs."

Forty-five minutes later, Issy was dragging her 2 suitcases down the stairs. She placed them at the front door. Turning she ran into the kitchen, grabbed a piece of bacon then headed outside. She didn't stop til she reached the barn. She wanted to say goodbye to Gallant her black stallion. He had been her best friend growing up. Since  she was a goddess, she was not allowed to attend normal school. So, any problems she ever had, she talked to Gallant about them. He whinnied as he heard her approach. Opening the gate she stepped in, rubbing and petting him as she got to his head.

"I am going to miss you. you big handsome boy," her tears could not be contained any longer. They slowly started to trinkle down her cheaks but before she knew it she was sobbing uncontrollably. He scuffed his front leg as if he knew exactly what she was saying and feeling. She hugged him for what seemed like an hour but was honestly just a few brief moments when she heard her father yelling for her. He was approaching the barn.

"Issy we have to go... Issy! Come on honey. I know this is hard for both of us, but we must go" His voice got louder as he got closer. He knew where she was, it was where she always went when she was upset. That is when he seen her. " Let's go Issy."

"But Daddy! I don't want to leave my home, my family. This is where I belong!" She was hardly able to speak through her tears .

"I know this is hard for everyone Issy, but it is your destiny. It must be done, I'm sorry" Raffie was dieing inside. He knew that today was the last day he would ever see his little girl. She didn't even know that and was already so upset. He couldn't bring himself to tell her. He opened the gate to Gallant's stall and reached for Issy, embracing her. He kissed her forehead and walked with her out the barn.
