(Y/N) placed an oversized flannel over the band tee she was wearing, and put on her combat boots. She gave herself a once over in the mirror, before she stepped out of her bedroom. "Are you guys ready to go?" she called out, looking around for her friends.

At first, there was no answer, but after a moment, Cho-Hee stepped out of Eliza's bedroom, a sad smile on her face. "Eliza's feeling sick, so we're gonna stay in today," she explained.

(Y/N) frowned. "That sucks," she said. She stepped into Eliza's room, and her eyes fell upon her. She was buried underneath a mountain of blankets. "Hey, honey, how are you feeling?"

"Not great..." Eliza croaked, her mouth sounding dry.

"You want me to get you some water?" (Y/N) asked.

Eliza shook her head. "I have some here..." she gestured to the cup on her bedside table.

(Y/N) nodded. She hated that Eliza was feeling so sick. It seemed really bad, which was weird, because she felt fine yesterday. But with Cho-Hee and herself there to take care of her, hopefully she'd feel better soon.

"Hey, I'm gonna go to the store and pick up some soup for you," she said. "Do you need anything else?"

She heard Eliza's phone make a ping, and saw her glance towards it, before she turned back to (Y/N) and shook her head. "No, thank you."

(Y/N) nodded, and tucked a strand of her (H/L), (H/C) hair behind her ear. "Alright, I'm gonna head to the store now," she said. "Hope you feel better soon." When her roommate murmured a "thanks" (Y/N) walked out of the room, to the kitchen, where Cho-Hee was getting some medicine out of the pantry. "Hey, I'm gonna go to the store, and pick up some soup. Is there anything else we need?"

Cho-Hee turned to her, and shook her head. "No, I don't think so," she said, before adding a quick "thanks."

(Y/N) nodded. "No problem," she replied. "I'll be back." With that, she grabbed her purse, and walked outside. It was pretty warm outside, compared to how it had been the previous days, making the short walk to the grocery store pretty enjoyable.

She was looking around at the various soups stacked on the shelves, when out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a familiar face at the other end of the aisle.

"Hey, stranger," she said, grinning.

Daniel turned, and smiled when his dark, blue eyes fell upon her. "Hey," he replied, stepping closer. "What are you doing here? I thought you were going to the movies with Eliza."

"Yeah, we were going to, but she felt really sick, so I'm buying her some soup," she explained.

He frowned. "Oh, I hope she feels better soon."

"Yeah, me too."

"I'm honestly the biggest wimp when it comes to being sick," Daniel said. "I could cough once and I'd tell my friends to start planning my funeral."

(Y/N) laughed. "What do your friends have so far?"

"I think they wanted an ice cream sundae bar," he answered.

"Oh, I'm definitely gonna have to come to that," she said. "Free ice cream is too good to pass up."

"You sound way too excited for my funeral."

"Hey, ice cream is always a reason to be excited," (Y/N) retorted, a grin on her (skin tone) face.

Daniel chuckled. "Alright, fair enough," he said. He looked around at the various types of soups on the shelves for a few moments, before he grabbed one of the cans. "This is the good stuff right here," he told her, holding it up so she could see the label.

"Yeah?"

"Yeah," he said. "It has a lot of good vitamins and shit, and it tastes good - especially when you add some garlic."

"Garlic is the spice of life," (Y/N) agreed.

"I thought it was variety."

"Nope, it's garlic."

Daniel grinned softly, and put a couple of the cans of soup in her basket. "Did you need anything else?" He asked, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his dark jeans.

She shook her head. "Nope, I think I'm good," she answered. "What about you?"

He took a moment to allow his gaze to scan his half-full basket, before he shook his head, and grinned. "Nope, I'm ready to get out of here," he said.

"Awesome."

Once they walked to the lines, and finished paying for their groceries, they left the store. Daniel offered to walk her home, and (Y/N) accepted. As they walked back to her apartment, she shyly slipped her hand into his, and intertwined their fingers.

Daniel looked over at her with a small smile. "You're so cute."

(Y/N) blushed. "No... You're the cute one!" she protested, a slight pout on her lips.

"Nope, it's definitely you."

"No! It's you!"

Daniel grinned. "How about this: we're both cute."

"Nope, just you."

He chuckled softly. "You're such a dork, y'know that?"

"It's been brought to my attention a time or two," she joked, a wide grin spreading across her lips.

It was then that they reached her apartment. They climbed up the stairs, continuing their talking and laughter, until they reached the third floor, where she lived. Daniel held the door open for her, and together, they stepped inside. They walked to the kitchen, and set the bags down on the counter, before they walked to Eliza's bedroom, where she laid in bed, with Cho-Hee sat next to her.

"Hey guys, I'm back," (Y/N) said, as she stepped into the room.

"Hey."

"Hey," Eliza said. "I don't mean this in a rude way, but why are you here, Daniel?"

"Oh, we ran into each other at the store, and I walked her home," he explained. "I heard you were feeling sick. Hope you feel better soon."

"Thanks."

(Y/N) nodded. "Anyway, I bought some soup," she said. "Dan says it's the good stuff, so I hope you like it."

"Thanks," Eliza smiled softly

Cho-Hee stood up from her spot on the bed. "We'll let you get some rest now," she said, a gentle smile on her own face.

Eliza nodded, and the other three left the room.

Daniel turned to (Y/N), as they walked towards the living room. "Hey, uh, since you can't go to the movies, do you wanna go to the park with me?"

When (Y/N) glanced at Cho-Hee, the latter smiled reassuringly. "I can take care of Eliza," she said. "You should go."

"Okay," (Y/N) agreed. "Let's go."
