The Princess

Readers POV
The doctor starts to wake up, he looks around. He seems confused and frighten, he looks over at me. He stands up as I frown, I look at him.

"Doctor, you need to untie me."

"What's happen."

"Untie me, I'll tell you later. Right now I need to do something."

He comes over to me and stare to undo the restraints. I stand up and rub my wrist as I see Natasha walking over. I look at her and frown, she isn't suppose to be up here.

"Doctor"

S"Loki's scepter, the energy...the Tesseract can't fight. You can't protect against yourself."

"It's not your fault. You didn't know what you were doing."

"Well, actually I think I did. I built in a safety to cut the power source."

"Loki's scepter."

"It might be able to close the portal, And I'm looking right at it."

I look at both of them, I walk closer to her.

"I can close the portal and I think I could destroy his scepter. I'll need you to keep fighting off the soldiers, I'll help the doctor."

She nods her head, I jump down off the side and onto the platform below. I grab the piece of glass and hold onto Loki's Scepter. I take the ladder and stab myself with it, my powers will drain and the portal will close. I look up and see that it's glowing the familiar purple, I look below me. I see everyone fighting, I open my wings as the power is flowing towards the the others. It'll keep their strength up, I smile and pull up a hologram of Starks suit. I quickly hi-jacket the intercoms.

"Hey Stark."

"Princess."

"I wanted to say something, quickly."

"How'd you hack into my suit."

"I'm a princess slash genius, I can hack into anything. Now let me say something."

"Go ahead."

"I'm sorry I tried to kiss you, I shouldn't feel the way I do. Just know that I'm doing this to help you and the team."

"What are you doing"

"I'm saving the team, you need to get the missile through the portal. You get out of there and go back to Pepper, she loves you."

"What did you do."

"What's necessary, tell my father that I love him. Tell my brother that he'll make a wonderful king one day."

"I will...."

I watch as he goes through the portal, I slightly smile. He'll make it, I'll let him.

"You can do this..."

After a few seconds I see him fall through, I can't help but smile as I fall to my knees. I look at the sky and slowly move my hand to the gold button. The paw shows up and I smile, I try to whisper.

"I did it, I helped save earth."

I slowly start to fade as my brothers voice comes through the voice activation. I close my eyes and slowly lose the breathe.

Thor's POV
We watch as he falls out of the sky, I smile at him.

"He's not slowing down."

I start to swing Mjolnir around, Just as I'm about to fly up, the hulk catches him in midair.
Hulk throws Ironman off him. We run over to him. I rip his helmet off, He appears to be dead. We stand around not sure. Then...the Hulk yells. It startled him awake, he looks around.

"What the hell? What just happened? Please tell me nobody kissed me?"

"We won."

"Alright. Hey. Alright. Good job, guys. Let's just not come in tomorrow. Let's just take a day. Have you ever tried shawarma? There's a shawarma joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is, but I wanna try it."

"We're not finished yet.."

"And then shawarma after."

He sits up a bit and looks around, he seems confused.

"Where's the princess"

I look down at him, he seems very worried about her. I look to the captain and frown, she's been on the roof.

"We need to find her now."

We all get up, I use Mjolnir to land on Starks platform. I see her lying there with the scepter and a piece of glass protruding out of her stomach. I quickly rush over to her, I look her over. Stark lands close to me as I slowly start to give up.

"What's happen"

"She hacked into my suit and was talking about saving us."

"Her power was what was keeping the ports open, she knew that she had to die."

I look up at him, he slowly walks closer to her. He bends down and picks her up. We walk into the living room as the others appear, they're all sadden too. We see Loki trying to get up, everyone surrounds him. He's the reason earth has to deal with the destruction.

Tony's POV
We saved earth, and I've helping rebuild the city. Everyone had went their separate ways, Thor and Loki back to Asgard. Steve left on his motorcycle, Barton and Romanoff went together. The only one left is the Princess, I got her laying down in our medical room. I've been watching over her, it seems that her body is reconstructing itself. She didn't fully die, her body has healed itself physically. Now we just wait her to wake up, I've thought about what she's said before I threw the middle into the portal. She wanted me to be happy with pepper, but the more I think about it. The more I've realized I was never in love with her. She's been there for me and I appreciate it but I'm not actually in love with her.

"Pepper.."

She looks at me and smiles, I walk closer to her.

"I wanted to talk to you about something."

"What's wrong"

"Since Princess has arrived, she's made me think about something."

"What..."

"I thought that I was happy and that I'm where I should be but I'm not. I don't want to hurt you and I can't help but feel that if I continue this, it'll do just that."

She looks at me for a moment before smiling, she touches my cheek.

"It's alright, I realize that you don't love me. I've know it for a long time, I want you to know that I'm always here for you. You do what you need to do, I'll support you either way."

"Thank you, I'm sorry for how I've been treating you."

She smiles and hugs me, I relax and do the same. A noise makes me pulls away, I look to the elevator to see it open. A couple of men in African uniforms comes out surrounded by women with spears.

"Hello."

The oldest man comes over to me, he frowns at us. The young boy beside seems to be doing the same.

"My name is King T'Chaka, I'm looking for Alicia."
