The Delinquent

-Part 8-

"Y/n..!?" I heard someone yell out for me.
I turned around and saw...
"Sasuke.." I whispered under my breath.
"Y/n?" Naruto called me.
"..I'll go to the infirmary.." I said, running back into the school.

I entered the infirmary.
"Hello?" I said but no one seemed to be in here.
I decided to just patch myself up.
It was hard to clean myself up because of the cut on the side of my face that the girl gave me from her knife.
"Y/n." Someone was watching me, I didn't notice.
I looked, "Sasuke..did you need something?" I asked, smiling.
He looked down to the floor, then walked and sat in front of me.
"You shouldn't go start fights like that.." He said, helping me wipe the blood off my face with an alcohol wipe.
"..Sorry but-"
"I don't want to involve you with my problems.." He said.
"Why-"
"You should probably keep your distance from me from now on..." He said, putting the last band aid on my face and he walked out.
"Sasuk-..." I sighed to myself, feeling tears build up in my eyes.
I didn't know why what he had said to me hurt so much.
I held my tears in when I heard someone walking towards this room.
"Y/n!? Are you okay!?" I heard Naruto say as he busted through the door.
"Yeah I'm fine." I said.
"The girl started crying and all her boyfriends got mad and they all broke up with her." Shikamaru explained.
"That's good." I said back.
"Oh and Tsunade-sama wants you to go to her office.
"..Okay.." I said, walking to the office.

I entered the principles office.
"Y/n, take a seat" Tsunade-sama said, the girl I punched was sitting there too.
"Yes Ma'am.." I said, taking a seat.
"Now, I heard that you started the fight by slapping g/n(Girls name) in the face" Tsuande-sama started off.
"Yes.." I said.
"And you guys both said many bad things to each other."
"Yes." Me and the girl said.
"Another student came and told me that g/n had a knife on her and cut the side of your face, am I right, y/n?" Tsunade said.
"Yes.." I said.
"And you punched g/n in the face multiple times."
"..Yes.." I said.
"Okay, Now y/n, tell me the reason why you started this fight." Tsunade finished.
"..I did it because she started rumors calling Uchiha Sasuke a waste of space. She told her friends that he had grabbed her and stared at her while we were at the arcade this weekend, but this isn't true because I was with sasuke at the time. She also made many other students believe this foolishness. I hated the fact that she started rumors on Sasuke just because of what his reputation of him to everyone is. She made him look worse, even though sasuke didn't try or attempt anything to anyone at this school. She started these rumors because she wanted attention and wanted people to look her way" I explained to Tsunade-sama.
"Okay, now g/n, why did you start these rumors?" Tsunade-sama asked.
"..I don't have a reason.." She said.
"...okay, y/n you have helped a student, but you have hurt a student as well, I will come over to your house and discuss this with your parents. Same to you g/n." Tsunade-sama said.
"Yes Tsunade-sama.." Me and the girl said, then left the office room.
It was still class time, so we went to class.
"Ah, there you guys are, take your seats" Kakashi-sensei said.
"Okay" I said, walking to my seat.
I could feel the stares of the students, they are probably curious about what had happened to my face.

After class had finished, I walked home with Naruto.
"Hey y/n, do you know what's wrong with sasuke? I tried talking to him earlier, but he didn't even look at me and walked away.." Naruto said to me, confused.
"..Just leave him.." I said to naruto.
"..I guess." Naruto said back.

We arrived home.
"Hey guys-Y/n!? what happened to you!?" My mom yelled in shock.
"Kushina, whats wrong-Y/n!?" Dad came in, shocked too.
"..I got into some trouble.." I said to them.
Then there was a knock at the door. I opened it.
"Hello family of Y/n and Naruto, I am their principle, call me Tsunade.
"Hello Tsunade, please come in" Dad said, then we all went to go sit in the living room.
Tsunade-sama explained what had happened.
"Okay, thank you for letting us know." Mom said.
"It's nothing, now I want to walk to you about y/n, I wanted to get your guys opinion about the punishment I am about to give to Y/n." Tsunade-sama said, sternly.
"Yes, okay." Dad said.
"Okay, I have two options, either Y/n gets suspended for 3 days or I will have y/n work and help me for the remaining of the week, she will be able to attend school." Tsunade-sama said.
"...Please take Y/n and allow her to work with you Tsunade.." Mom and dad said.
"Okay, nice choice, Y/n must arrive at the school at six in the morning everyday 'till the end of this week, she will return home by five in the afternoon, now I will take my leave now. Have a good day." Tsunade-sama said, then left the house.
"I'm sor-"
"You worried me so much...!" Mom said, hugging me.
"..Sorry.." I said, hugging mom back.
"I'm glad you didn't start a fight for any idiotic reasons y'know! But you shouldn't start fights at all!" Mom said.
"I'm glad your okay y/n" dad said.
"Thanks.." I said.

I then showered and then went to bed.
The next morning, I woke up at 5:30am and got ready for school.
I quietly left the house since nobody was awake. Then headed off to school.
Once I arrived at school, I walked into Tsunade's office.
"Tsunade-sama?" I said.
"Y/n, come in." She said.
I entered.
"Good job, you came on time." Tsunade said.
"Thank you.." I said.
"Now, go take these to Guy sense's room." Tsunade said.
"Okay." I said, taking the papers out of her hands and walking to Guy sensei's classroom.
"Guy-sensei?" I said, peeping out of the door.
"Yes? Oh y/n! come in, did you have something for me?" Guy sensei said.
"Hello Guy-sensei-and lee, guy-sensei, Tsunade-sama told me to give these to you." I said handing the papers to guy sensei.

"Hey y/n! Uh, what happened to your face?" Lee asked.
"oh..it's nothing.. have to go now, I'll see you guys later." I said, leaving the room, going back to Tsunade-sama.

Once I arrived, I stepped into her office.
"I'm back Tsunade-sama..." I said.
There was someone else in her office as well.
"Oh, right on time, Y/n, this is is Sai, he's new." Tsunade said.
The boy named sai turned over to me.
"Hello, I'm sai, nice to meet you.." He said in a kind voice.
"Hello...I'm y/n.." I replied back to him.
He just smiled at me, then faced back to Tsunade-sama.
"Now, Y/n, I want you to give Sai a tour of the school and accompany him for today, so he gets used to the school." Tsunade said.
"Yes Tsunade-sama." I said to her, making no arguments.
"Follow me, Sai." I said to him, walking out of Tsunade's office.
I toured sai around the school until it was time for school to start.
"Well, class is about to start, let's get going.." I said.
"Okay." Sai said.
We walked to class.
Once we arrived, we stepped inside.
"Y/n, Sai, welcome.." Kakashi-sensei said as we stepped in.
"Good morning." Sai said to Kakashi-sensei.
"You too sai, now please introduce yourself, y/n, take your seat." Kakashi-sensei said.
"Yes.." I said.
As I sat down, everyone's whispers began.

"Hey, didn't y/n start a fight with that girl yesterday..?"
"Yeah, but only g/n got suspended."
"That's so unfair, y/n was the one that started the fight first."
"Yeah, I know right, she probably bribed the principle for something.."
"Ugh that Y/n is so annoying!"

"girls!" kakashi-sensei said, loudly, getting everyone's attention.
"Now, sai, introduce yourself.." Kakashi-sensei said.
"Yes- hello everyone, I am Sai, it's nice to meet you all" Sai said.
"Good..now go take a seat over there." Kakashi-sensei said.
Sai sat three chairs away from me.
The class started.

Once class was finished, it was lunch time.
I was still picking up my stuff off my desk, then sai walked over to me.
"Sai? Oh, sorry for taking so long." I said, picking my stuff up faster.
"It's fine." He said, smiling.
"..Let's go now.." I said.
Sai followed to the cafeteria.
When we grabbed out lunch, we sat at an empty table.
"..How do like the school so far?" I asked sai.
"It's nice.." He said to me.
"That's good, did you know any clubs that you would like to join?" I asked.
"..Well, maybe..Basketball..?" He said.
I was shocked. He didn't seem to be the "I like sports" type.
"..Then I could take you to see the basketball team.." I said.
"...Thanks.." He said, smiling.
"Oh..it's nothing.." I said, embarrassed.

After school, we went to the basketball court, where the team practices at.
"Here, sit here." I said.
"Okay." Sai replied.
We sat on the nearby bench and watched the team play.
I wasn't really paying attention to them playing.
They took a break and started drinking water.
They all started taking there shirts off, it was probably due to the sweat from playing.
As I was just watching them, I spotted sasuke in the crowd.
'I had no idea he was on the basketball team..'
I saw that he also had his shirt off and looked away in a blush.
"..S-Sai? I have to get going now, I'll see you tomorrow.." I said, getting up and leaving.
"Oh, okay.." sai said.
I immediately ran home.
I hadn't forgotten what sasuke said. It bothered me.
"Welcome hom- y/n? What are you doing home so early, weren't you supposed to come by at 5?" Mom asked.
"....oh yeah, tsunade-sama let me go early.." I said.
"Oh okay!" Mom said.
'Tsunade-sama's going to kill me!!'
