♡After getting home from my first day of school, I crashed instantly to the floor. Tripping, a minor concussion, gossip, and dealing with Eren all in one day?! Why is it that these things are suddenly happening as soon as I leave the country side. I refused to get into bed without a shower so that's what I did. I took a nice warm shower and felt instant relief. I didn't have to worry about homework tonight because I was able to finish it during the last two hours of the school. I was always a studious student. I rather get things done than leave it for last minute. However, my worst subject is math. The amount of times I cried before a math test is honestly a sport at this point but I always try my best and that's all that matters. Mother always valued my education and told me at a very young age that the most beautiful part of a girl is her brain. I got out of the shower and put on an oversize dark green hoodie that went to my mid-thigh and a pair of black leggings with some warm fuzzy black socks. It was chilly today considering it was spring time so fuzzy socks was the move. Just when I was going to get on my laptop to watch some anime, I remembered I promise Sasha cookies! I needed to also buy groceries to make myself lunch and dinner for the week. It's so hard living alone. I sighed and checked the time.
It was only 6:01 so it wasn't that late out. I unlocked my phone and went to the GPS app and searched up supermarkets around me. Luckily, there was one within a 10 minute walking distance. I checked my bank account to see the if I had any money there. Grandma promised to transfer money there weekly and that she kept. I admit I felt bad because living in the city was no cheap thing but grandma said that the city has more opportunities and I'll be going to a university in the city anyways to might as well get used to it. She picked out everything for me including the apartment and school I'll be going to. She owns a tourist hot springs hotel business so it's not like this is out of her budget but before mom passed away, we didn't have much so spending money recklessly was a big deal to me. She worked two full time jobs and still managed to raise me...I miss her. No! I can't cry. She hated to see my cry and I promise her the day she died after I mourned for her I will never cry again. I sniffled and put on my usual converse, grabbed my apartment keys and my wallet and went out the door.
As I was walking to the store, I slightly cursed under my breath for not wearing more layers. It was late February so of course it was going to be slightly chilly. To distract myself from the possible hypothermia forming in my body, I admired the city night life. I was starting to like the neon signs and the twinkling dainty light. From afar, it was almost like a million fairies flying everywhere. The streets weren't as crowded since it was after work hours. I did see a lot of couples holding hands and huddling together to keep warm. One couple in particular looked so in love I sighed in admiration. Once upon a time, I would have been disgusted at the sight but now I'm a teenage girl hoping to maybe find real love one day. Love has never been my priority but I just want someone to like the real me. I sighed to myself.
By the time I was done sulking for being a single freak, I had made it to the grocery store. It wasn't that big but it had everything I needed. I grabbed a basket and headed to the each section to find everything I need. I picked up rice, eggs, milk, white bread, flour, chocolate chips, a package of frozen vegetables, some fruity drinks, and some chips for later. I also picked up some instant ramen and tiny sausages. I was wondering want cookies Sasha would like but I figured chocolate chip cookies were the safest bet. I payed for my items and I stopped to notice to the smell of ramen. I didn't even realize there was a mini food court here! When I walked over, I saw a familiar guy sitting alone stuffing his face with food. It was Eren. At that moment he looked up and I didn't know whether to leave and act like I never saw him or walk over. I figured it was nice to walk over although I don't see why after all the trouble he caused me.
"Are you stalking me now?" Eren spoke as soon as I approached him.
I shoved my bag of groceries in his face.
